This thread is for general discussion of page quotes, whether to change, move or remove them.
Unused quotes should be put on a Quotes Wiki page (just replace the namespace in the URL of the wiki page you are making a quotes page for with Quotes/).
Image captions are discussed elsewhere and have their own thread
in the Image Pickin' forum.

That's good. Short and to the point
Perchance this isn't the place for this, however, someone added
this quote to Quotes.Unintentionally Unsympathetic:
Sounds more like Ragtag Bunch of Misfits to me.
Suggestion for First-Person Peripheral Narrator:
to Hard-to-Adapt Work and First-Person Peripheral Narrator; i agree that Unintentionally Unsympathetic is too barren to be an example, because i think it'd need more context that it's an audience criticism of these characters
i moved the quote on Queer Character, Queer Actor to Sara Ramirez, and swapped in a quote for QCQA that was previously on its quotes page

Sounds more like Designated Hero, since it at least, well, says "heroes."

I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.I think this is the right place, but Owen Hart has two quotes. I prefer the second one (the Catchphrase), as the first one seems out of place and very negative.
Maybe this isn't to place to ask this, however, would it be ok if I add this quote to Quotes.Unintentionally Unsympathetic?
EDIT: I fixed an error with the note.

Ehh, given the track record in that show, we're not convinced he's supposed to be read as sympathetic. The whole point of Chloe's subverted redemption arc seems to be that "has a reason" doesn't mean "sympathetic".
... That said, since the quote clearly does take the stance that we're supposed to think that... uh, maybe? Do we allow quotes for "audience view vs writer intent dissonance" reactions if they're based on iffy understandings of the writer's intent?

Suddenly I'm... still rotating Fallen London in my mind even though I've stopped actively playing it.Miraculous is weird about this sort of thing since Shadow Moth does sort of have the whole Mr. Freeze "I want to save my wife" thing going on but he's also such a jackass that I do think it's safer to believe it's another Chloe situation. At least for now.
Dunno what that means for the quote though since Cyrus is making an opinionated review, so it does take the stance...

Working on: Author Appeal | Sandbox | Troper WallWell, if the quote is illustrative, I guess it could stay? I'm not sure if there is a policy for it, but we do have This Image Is Not an Example which is similar in spirit
There are two quotes on the recap page for Mystery Science Theater 3000 S08 E19: Invasion of the Neptune Men:

What Do You Mean, It's Not for Kids?'s quote has the "could be mistaken for a children's work" part of the meaning relegated to the quote source. I've found this quote that fits both parts of the reactions's meaning, though feel free to suggest anything better.
Sorry if any of the formatting here is wrong, I'm not used to quote formatting.
Welcome To Ideals' WorldCurrent quote for Bizarro Apocalypse is a bit spoilery. Trope is new so it doesn't have a Quotes page yet; we may want to stay on the lookout for potential better options.
2025: the year it all ends?Gotta Kill Them All and The Abominable Dr. Phibes have the same quote. Which one should be kept?
Works That Require Cleanup of Complaining | Troper Wallrelatedly, Gasp! and Frisky Dingo have the same quote, just with the first half chopped off for the latter. i've been meaning to look out for work-trope quote overlaps; in this case i feel like both of them work better on their respective work pages than the tropes
Fur Is Clothing and Body Pocket also also has the same quote, but I think it really suits the latter more.

Murder by Inaction used to be this:
Dende: Oh? I'm sorry, I'm having a hard time hearing you over the smell of my people's blood on your hands.
Vegeta: Oh no... Do not be that guy right now!
Dende: Oh, I'm going to be that guy right now.
But in 2019 ginsengaddict “swapped in a more succinct quote”.
