This thread is for general discussion of page quotes, whether to change, move or remove them.
Unused quotes should be put on a Quotes Wiki page (just replace the namespace in the URL of the wiki page you are making a quotes page for with Quotes/).
Image captions are discussed elsewhere and have their own thread
in the Image Pickin' forum.

She / Her
I agree that that's a better quote
.
the quote on It's Not Porn, It's Art has a lengthy note stuck on the end.
Is their any reason Final Solution lists real life quotes about every recorded genocide?
Kinda overkill for a trope that doesn't allow real life examples anyway.
"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."
When was Final Solution made NRLEP? I'm a little concerned the quotes may have been added to get around that requirement like what happened with the So Bad, It's Horrible quotes page being used to sneak in non-Horrible works.
EDIT:
Huh, I guess it isn't. Nevermind then.

Works That Require Cleanup of Complaining | Troper WallI Resemble That Remark!'s page quote seems to illustrate an aversion, since the denial doesn't actually validate the initial insult.
Some better alternatives from the subpage:
Misato: Calm down, Asuka!
Asuka: I'M CALM!!! THAT'S OBVIOUS, ISN'T IT!!?
Ben: What temper tantrums? I'm the sweetest, most lovable guy on the team— and I'll pulverise any meathead who says I ain't!!
Agreed. It's short, concise, and fits the trope.
The page quotes for Sonic Boom and Mascot with Attitude are the same.
Feel free to help with the sandbox or edit my troper wall![]()
I agree with the comment above, It shouldn't be too much of an issue. Plus it just shows how much attitude he has: being on two pages all at once.
Suggestion for Thriller on the Express:
The current quote for Rebel Leader is Princess Leia from A New Hope and sorta works if you know the context (which I'm guessing most tropers do), but it doesn't really illustrate the trope.
This is one from the Quotes page that I think works better:
The quote on Cheated Death, Died Anyway relies on the context and description. On its own, it's completely non-illustrative. I propose a replacement from Final Destination, which completely revolves around this trope.
(Man, Bludworth has a lot of good lines.)
I agree that the third one is good.
I don't think the quote for Catchphrase is very clear, as out of context it sounds more like Obligatory Joke (it is in context). Maybe the one from Grand Theft Auto IV: The Ballad of Gay Tony on Quotes.Catch Phrase?

Currently mostly inactive. An incremental game I tested: https://galaxy.click/play/176 (Gods of Incremental)Fake Longevity has a complaining critic quote. Most of the quotes on the quotes page are guilty of the same thing; I don't think any of them are good replacements.
Rebel Leader, Catchphrase and Thriller on the Express suggessions look good to me.
Not sure about Fake Longevity: it might be complainy, but it's illustrative, and the trope itself is pretty negative. Would cutting the first two sentences make it a bit less complainy?
If no one is opposed, I'm replacing the quote on Cheated Death, Died Anyway with my third suggestion
both of those suggestions are okay to me
Sara Ramirez's quote is from a character they played. i think i would swap in the quote on Queer Character, Queer Actor, since that's a quote directly from them. would that be okay?

The quote on Hard-to-Adapt Work is really long. I suggesting cutting it down to this;
