This thread is for general discussion of page quotes, whether to change, move or remove them.
Unused quotes should be put on a Quotes Wiki page (just replace the namespace in the URL of the wiki page you are making a quotes page for with Quotes/).
Image captions are discussed elsewhere and have their own thread
in the Image Pickin' forum.

The page quote of Neverwhere is two paragraphs long. Is it right?
I have a suggestion for a quote for The Intern, but wanted some more opinions.
He's working this job just for college credit,
He's Carl the intern!
Might be biased in favor of P+F but I think that works quite well. I'm also partial to this dialogue but it's a bit long and I think the Even Evil Has Standards implications might muddy it.
- Doofenshmirtz: But my intelligence specifically said that you would be sunbathing, it never mentioned an intern.
Major Monogram: That's because he's not officially an employee, he's unpaid.
Doofenshmirtz: You don't pay him?
Major Monogram: He gets college credit.
Doofenshmirtz: Are you sure you're not evil?

I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe. The current quote for Celeb Crush references an old Nostalgia Critic Running Gag that isn't super illustrative of what the trope is. Is it okay if it's replaced with this one instead?
But I know two can play at this kinda game
Well, let's just see how jealous she'll get
When I start stalking Alanis Morissette
I think the overlap with Stalker with a Crush might muddy things.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.Sorry, but I didn't get a response to this post
. To recap, someone changed the quote on Creepy High-Pitched Voice a while ago without discussion. The new quote doesn't make sense out of context, and the context is a spoiler. I would change it back to the original quote, but I don't want to be edit warring with this person.

Very good kittyI reverted it and cited this thread.
Is the quote on Mission Control Is Off Its Meds good out of context? While it is probably the most famous example, out of context, it's just Word-Salad Horror
"It was the best of times, it was the BLURST of times?"
Yeah, it doesn't make much sense.
This one from the Quotes page does a pretty good job of depicting the "Mission Control" going wrong in real time:
Assessment: Draw closer.
I'm sure this has been brought up on here before but Rule of Two and Student–Master Team have the same quote. While it mentions "a student and a master" it doesn't say anything about them being a team or working together, so I'd say it's a better quote for the former trope.

Yep, replace the Mission Control Is Off Its Meds quote and pull from Student–Master Team.
Re: The Intern, yeah, I think the longer quote is a bit too much, plus too much focus on the Even Evil Has Standards.
My musician pageHugh Laurie has two quotes:
I'd prefer to get rid of the second one.
The quote on Clark Ashton Smith is a good one, but it seems too long for a page quote. I think cutting it down to either the first line:
Or the last:
One of them could work and get the point across better, though I'm partial to the first one.
Edit: Also, Geek Physiques has this quote:
I don't think this actually demonstrates the trope? It's about nerds stereotypically having skinny and unfit bodies, but the quote doesn't really put a focus on that. In fact nerds are just a part of Homer's overall point, which is about corporal punishment and cultural differences that has nothing to do with the trope. Does anyone else have something that would fit better?

Best I can think of is from the page's video example:
Either way, the quote should definitely be pulled.

Accidental Aesop, as stated in the line immediately below this quote, only applies if the work does not have an intended Aesop. Aesop's works have intended messages to the point they're the Trope Namer. So the quote it misused.
Should it be cut or moved somewhere?
The quote doesn't even demonstrate the trope well (it comes of as a deliberate Warp That Aesop), so I'd say pull.

Lupin III The Italian Adventure has two quotes.
