This thread is for general discussion of page quotes, whether to change, move or remove them.
Unused quotes should be put on a Quotes Wiki page (just replace the namespace in the URL of the wiki page you are making a quotes page for with Quotes/) or, if they don't have an article, on Quotes Looking for an Article.
Image captions are discussed elsewhere and have their own thread in the Image Pickin' forum.

I was trying to look into this quote from Belief Makes You Stupid, because I wanted to modify it so that I could include the individual who actually said it. However, my research has yielded zero results as in to where this quote came from. This quote might be entirely made up or misattributed. Any Python fans who know otherwise, please let me know.
Also, it is entirely possible that there shouldn't be a quote on this page. The quotes on the Quote page for this trope are not any better examples and the purpose should be how the scenario plays out in-universe for the characters rather than just Complaining about religion.

Isn't the quote on Summoning Ritual an example of Eat the Summoner?
I like this as a replacement
Suggested shortenings for the suggested quote for Drink-Based Characterization from here (differences highlighted in bold):
Nav: Eh. Only because it was the most stereotypical 'Hello, I am a grizzled private eye' drink ever.
I gasp, affronted.
MC: Hey! Not all of us like a bakery's worth of sugar dunked in with our booze.
I look pointedly at the cheerful neon cocktail Jessa sets in front on him.
Nav: There's nothing wrong with wanting a little sweetness from life, [MC].
MC: I prefer to stay bitter.
- Note: does not mention what the MC's drink actually is
2)
Nav: Eh. Only because [a neat whiskey] was the most stereotypical 'Hello, I am a grizzled private eye' drink ever.
I gasp, affronted.

I look pointedly at the cheerful neon cocktail Jessa sets in front on him.

For any of the above, lines 3 and 4 could also be condensed into a single line:
Leonine Contract's quote is way too long. From the subpage, the one from The Jackbox Party Pack is the most straightforward, but I'm not too keen on that one. Any other suggestions?
I found this quote headlining Sudden School Uniform. The trouble is it doesn't seem to have anything to do with the idea of the trope without context.

Remove it; not having any quote would be better than that.
The page quote on Dumb and Drummer has no source. It also has a follow-up used as the page's stinger, so if a source can't be found, that will need to be dealt with alongside it to make sure it doesn't end up an Orphaned Punchline.
SoundCloudQuote suggestion for Penny-Pinching Crab:
Crustaceous = Crab-like or related to crabs. And it demonstrates how he fulfills the stereotype of crabs being greedy or stingy.

Rawr.Doesn’t really show the “crab” part. Also, he’s the pic.
I know that. It’s limited to just that one word, though. And it illustrates the “penny-pinching” part fine.

Turbulent Priest and Rhetorical Request Blunder have very nearly the same quote. It fits neither of them.
I don't really think the quote on Most Writers Are Human illustrates the trope, which as I understand is primarily about humans getting the focus in sci-fi settings.
Keet cleanupDon’t we already have a trope for Human Aliens?
"Listen up, Marina, because this is SUPER important. Whatever you do, don't eat th“ “DON'T EAT WHAT?! Your text box ran out of space!”I think the page quote on Impossibly Tacky Clothes is a bit non-descriptive (especially with the mullet coming back into fashion for certain parts of society). It's currently:
I had a look at the quotes page, and they're not great, but this one seems like the best of the bunch:
Doctor: I intend to rise above your barbs... but, before I do, I'd like to say that this coat can only be appreciated by someone with a sharpened aesthetic sense — not a dunderhead like you!
Banto: "Sharpened aesthetic sense"? Sharpened by what? A dose of mind-altering drugs?

If my post doesn't mention a giant flying sperm whale with oversized teeth and lionfish fins for flippers, it just isn't worth reading. The quote on Evil Knockoff doesn't tell us that the villain created the evil knockoff in question
—signature not found—May I suggest:
Lucina: I know! It's very modern. See all the giant pink polka dots? If you look carefully, you'll see that each one is a portrait of Emmeryn herself! I wager when Father sees you in this, he'll just scream with delight!
Robin: (I bet he'll scream, all right...)

Quote for Dumb and Drummer, what do you think? To replace the source-less current one, found in the Films-Live Action folder
Gordon: Yeah, 'cause he couldn't play anything else!
Freddy: Shut up!

My favorite sci fi enemies are the giant sexy depressed womenI like that.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.Class Representative's quote is unsourced and doesn't seem like it's actually from any where. It doesn't have a Quotes subpage for possible replacements. Just cut?
I like the Awakening quote.
You may!
I really like that quote.
If my post doesn't mention a giant flying sperm whale with oversized teeth and lionfish fins for flippers, it just isn't worth reading.Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols has a long and somewhat complainy quote (insults other musicians to make the Sex Pistols sound better by comparison). Is it okay if I trim it down to just a few lines?
The quote on Nice Character, Mean Actor has the "Mean Actor" part, but not the "Nice Character" part.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.Definitely needs a trim. Also we shouldn't have glowing quotes like that in headers, it makes the quote look endorsed by the wiki. Go ahead and cut it down, though even in that reduced state I'm iffy about it.
Stories don't tell us monsters exist; we knew that already. They show us that monsters can be trademarked and milked for years.Yeah, its still somewhat gushy. Maybe a quote from Anarchy in the UK would work, since it's one of the most famous songs from the album (and one of their most famous songs in general)?
I am an anarchist
Don't know what I want but I know how to get it
I wanna destroy the passersby"
Can we add the Calvin and Hobbes quote to Gag Haircut now?
Rawr.
