This thread is for general discussion of page quotes, whether to change, move or remove them.
Unused quotes should be put on a Quotes Wiki page (just replace the namespace in the URL of the wiki page you are making a quotes page for with Quotes/).
Image captions are discussed elsewhere and have their own thread
in the Image Pickin' forum.

I dunno, I think the quote is more funny than legitimate complaint, but that could come from my obvious bias as a Zero Punctuation fan. But the general problem (which I do see with this one) I have with the ZP page quotes people add is that they long and obtuse. Yahtzee uses all kinds of metaphors and colorful language, which I find entertaining in his videos, but doesn't really get to the point, which makes for a bad page quote imo.

The quote on Peking Duck Christmas is rather long, as well as containing two notes and a pothole to a youtube video (of the quote's source, as it happens, but still)
Suddenly I'm... still rotating Fallen London in my mind even though I've stopped actively playing it.![]()
Might be reduced to
Solicitor General Elena Kagan: [laughs] You know, like all Jews, I was probably at a Chinese restaurant.
[Laughter from crowd]
Graham: Great answer!
Sen. Patrick Leahy: I could just see that one coming...
Sen. Chuck Schumernote : They're the only places open.
That would be an improvement.
... might also help to link to a different video of the source material, since that one seems to have been posted by some kind of anti-Semitic conspiracy theorist.
Suddenly I'm... still rotating Fallen London in my mind even though I've stopped actively playing it.Love me some Game Grumps but I don't think the page quote on Lethal Klutz is very relevant. It doesn't make the "klutz" part clear. especially since it sounds like a game mechanic, not a character.
For that matter, the Healing Potion quote isn't very good either, since the quote is explicitly not talking about a potion.

I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.Re Healing Potion, does it have to be an actual potion, or just any item you consume for +HP (such as food, medical supplies, etc.) will do? If the latter, then the quote still counts.
Lethal Klutz is bad though. It sounds more like the item is dangerous, rather than the person holding it. I don't mind it being removed.
Zero Punctuation strikes again: Not only is the quote on Story Branch Favoritism too opinionated, it's honestly a poor demonstration of the trope; it makes it sound like an Audience Reaction when it isn't supposed to be.
Tell that quote to get outta there
I don’t think the quote for Literally Shattered Lives really illustrates the trope. Also, there’s a pothole in there, which I’m pretty sure isn’t allowed.

It wicks the phrase "stay frosty"; not a pothole per se but I don't think it quite fits in the "direct references" category of wicks allowed in quotes.
Though that's all moot given that the quote itself is insufficiently illustrative.
Suddenly I'm... still rotating Fallen London in my mind even though I've stopped actively playing it.The quote for The Day After Tomorrow is overly complainy and requires knowledge of another work to understand. Should it be cut?
Cave Johnson, we're done here.Seconding the Bioshock suggestion for Literally Shattered Lives, to wit:
Since the former quote has been removed already I'll just add this one now; it can always be changed again if anyone comes up with a better suggestion.
Duplicate RWBY quote on Baby Talk and Precious Puppy. It fits better on the latter.
2025: the year it all ends?Suggestion for "Could Have Avoided This!" Plot

Boss Tease has a complaining quote from, surprise surprise, Zero Punctuation.
