This thread is for general discussion of page quotes, whether to change, move or remove them.
Unused quotes should be put on a Quotes Wiki page (just replace the namespace in the URL of the wiki page you are making a quotes page for with Quotes/) or, if they don't have an article, on Quotes Looking for an Article.
Image captions are discussed elsewhere and have their own thread in the Image Pickin' forum.

The quote for Yes-Man is way too long for such an easy concept to illustrate. I much prefer one of these from the Quotes page:
Triplet 1: Exactly!
Triplet 2: Affirmative!
Triplet 3: Good call, B.B.!
Does this belong in Armed with Canon? I'm looking at Ken Penders quotes. The quote is of Penders after he left the comic series, so disapproval of god is a thing, but
“I especially don’t consider anything either does with any of the echidna characters – especially Locke – to be canon as neither created the characters nor established them in stories as the viable fan favorites they’ve become. No matter what Ian writes, he can never alter the fact that in MY universe, the events of Locke’s passing as depicted in SONIC #143 is canon. Anything he writes can easily be counter-written by a better story with an alternative solution."
To win, you need to adapt, and to adapt, you need to be able to laugh away all the restraints. Everything holding you back. The first suggestion is not that much concise than the current. I think the current can be shortened to just the last three sentences.
The page quotes for Thundering Herd and Animal Stampede are the same, from Jumanji. Since it's about animals, it fits Animal Stampede better. Can I remove it from Thundering Herd?
I don't think it's a good quote for either page; it's too zero-context. If someone doesn't know Jumanji, that quote could be referring to anything.
I don't know of a good quote for Thundering Herd. The Lion King would be a good one for Animal Stampede, but I'm guessing it's not being used because the page image is from the same work.
If my post doesn't mention a giant flying sperm whale with oversized teeth and lionfish fins for flippers, it just isn't worth reading.Shortened Yes-Man quote.
My favorite sci fi enemies are the giant sexy depressed womenSince there's no opposition, I shall add Penders quote then.
To win, you need to adapt, and to adapt, you need to be able to laugh away all the restraints. Everything holding you back. From Quotes.A Nazi By Any Other Name:
AP-3 Ross: What worse things?
Bobble the Clown: Every worse thing.
The quote on Video-Game Lives is rather hostile to the trope. Should I go ahead and remove it?
SoundCloudUnsurprising, coming from Zero Punctuation. I support the removal.
135 - 158 - 273 - 191 - 188 - 230 - 300What's the problem? Main page quote is fine, there's nothing to worry about. Length isn't a problem on quotes pages, and those could pass (barely) as main page quotes anyway.
Another vote to remove, though not seeing any possible replacements.

Would either of these work for Beast in the Maze?
Rabscuttle: Don't make any mistake, master. I don't know who or what it is, but I know it's searching for us, and if it finds us it means to kill us. We're being hunted.

I don't know about "Could Have Avoided This!" Plot main quote.
I feel like this one is better in my opinion.
The first quote seems fine to me. If we did use the second, I'd drop the "Was it?"
I'm for keeping the original. Also, this is the third time you've proposed a quote change without defining anything wrong with the original. It's starting to look like you just want to change the works getting exposure.
SoundCloudWelp, Pass the Popcorn's current quote does nothing to illustrate how the trope happens.
Any suitable replacements?

Cassie | he/they | But will it stop the pain forever? / I just can't be sureI like the Fallout 4 quote from the quotes page.
<(0_0<) <(0_0)> (>0_0)> KIRBY DANCEI like the Ed, Edd, n' Eddy quote, personally.
Jawbreakers on sale for 99¢Does the quote attribution on Acronym and Abbreviation Overload really need all that extra context? We can just stick with the names of the singer and song.

I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe. Not to mention the "Have Fun!" at the end seems unnecessary and, dare I say, jerkish.
(Don't) take me home.I have a quote suggestion for Fantastic Vermin:
EDIT: No feedback for a day; I'll just add it.

I might have brought this up already but I think Mario Kart could use a new quote, if it actually needs one at all. Currently the quote is "Welcome to Mario Kart!", which says pretty much nothing about what Mario Kart actually is.
I don’t think that quote is a problem; quotes for works don’t need to describe what they’re about.
Ivy League for Everyone’s quote is the same as the film it’s from.
back lolI think the quote for Older Hero vs. Younger Villain is a little low accuracy. This might work better:

,I agree. Lets put it back to the older quote.
