This thread is for general discussion of page quotes, whether to change, move or remove them.
Unused quotes should be put on a Quotes Wiki page (just replace the namespace in the URL of the wiki page you are making a quotes page for with Quotes/) or, if they don't have an article, on Quotes Looking for an Article.

First one.
ComicBook.Monstress has two quotes.
The quote on Biopic is very complainy.
Stock Legal Phrases and Artistic License – Law have the same quote. I think it fits Stock Legal Phrases better.
Agreed.
Dork in a Sweater and All Cloth Unravels have the same quote. I like it better on All Cloth Unravels, but the only quote I could find in the folders for Dork in a Sweater is the Fairly Oddparents one. Should I put it in?
Light 'em Up has been changed.
Added Alliterative Appeal is too long. We certainly don't need 49 V words to display the trope right?
Felt like I wanted to change a main quote from Armor-Piercing Response. I felt it's a bit too outdated.
Jin Sakai: And you are a slave to it.

I don't think the age of the works we use for quotes or images are really a concern most of the time, but regardless I think the current works better. The response hits harder.
Cut everything except either the last sentence or the first two sentences.
I think this quote for I Can't Reach It works better than the current, since it's a much more direct lampshading of the trope:
I agree that it paints a better picture of the trope.
Mythpunk has two quotes, and I'm not really feeling either of them. There's no quotes tab or any examples of alternative quotes on the page.
Agreed. I'd be down for just leaving it quote-less for now.
I agree, that works better.
Gratitude Tropes has two quotes. Which one are we using?
I very much prefer the first.
Supporting the first. Not even sure why the second was added, as no one but the most dickish people would agree with it (or anything incendiary Stalin said, for that matter).
Perhaps as a two-sides thing? Nevertheless, cut the second.
The quote on You Go, Girl! is a parody/criticism of the trope. I'd like to swap it with the one on the quotes page, which appears to be a straight example, and thus demonstrates the trope more clearly.
On the one hand, I would also prefer a straight example over a parody.
On the other, the World Heroes quote is extremely oblique.
Anyone have a third option?
Should No Budget’s quote be reverted? It was changed back in May last year, and while it was brought up in this thread, it never got reverted. I still prefer the old caption; I find it to be more interesting:
Cartmel: We were lucky to have the neon rings! Thank god it was a dark room!
I like that one too; the current feels more like a non-sequitur.
The quote for Hive-Mind Testimonial is rather hostile, even if it's not wrong. Since there's no quotes page, should it just be removed.
Light 'em Up has a very ambiguous quote that doesn't demonstrate the trope. Even the description 'Yuna casting Holy' is ZCE. It seems to be suffering from Fan Myopia. It doesn't explain as much as people familiar with the game might think.
I've picked what I think are the best two options from the Quotes page, and added a third that I can think of, but which isn't on the quotes page.
