This thread is for general discussion of page quotes, whether to change, move or remove them.
Unused quotes should be put on a Quotes Wiki page (just replace the namespace in the URL of the wiki page you are making a quotes page for with Quotes/).
Image captions are discussed elsewhere and have their own thread
in the Image Pickin' forum.

Go for it.
This quote is on United Passions.
The quote on Aliens Made Them Do It looks like a better fit for Genius Breeding Act:
Page quote has been added to Genius Breeding Act, but Aliens Made Them Do It is locked, so I have filed a request for that.
The quote of Unsatisfiable Customer seems to be about something entirely different (a service industry that's deliberately making customers unhappy, rather than a customer that's going to be unhappy no matter how well they're served).
What's the source for the quote on Mirror-Cracking Ugly?
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.Crack Defeat and Inanimate Competitor have the same quote.
Suddenly I'm... still rotating Fallen London in my mind even though I've stopped actively playing it.What's happening in the quote on Nemean Skinning?
Professor Bruttenholm: Cloak, Hellboy. He wore its skin as a cloak.
It really doesn't make sense to me out of context, and I don't see what it has to do with skinning an animal and wearing it. regulation pigeon
The quote for Sound Stone fits the trope, as learning the parts of the song is the main progression of EarthBound Beginnings. However, the lyrics do not make that relation apparent and so the quote is ultimately non-illustrative.

My musician pageSo Post-Rape Taunt is in a weird place where it has a quote page but no main quote. Which should we use ?
"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."Hm. It's also the page quote for EarthBound Beginnings, so it would need changing anyway.
The trope is a bit ambiguous on where the boundaries are for what counts. What about this?
Sydney Bristow: For what?
Irina Derevko: Zero-point energy; a fuel source. The military applications alone would be unlimited.

If my post doesn't mention a giant flying sperm whale with oversized teeth and lionfish fins for flippers, it just isn't worth reading.I want to put this on the quotes page for Sophisticated as Hell, but I'm wondering if it's a bit too crass:
Girlfriend: Thanks!
(Beat)
Senpai: Can you crush my balls?
Re: As the Good Book Says.... I'm on it.
Anyone else agree with me?
EDIT: gosh I thought it said "As Good as the Book Says..."

I like the second one more. Not sure why, just a little more punchy and laconic.
Creator.Amanda Mc Kittrick Ros has two page quotes:
Since the second one is in direct response to the first, that indicates that only the first could stand alone.
Was Nice to the Waiter's quote slated for removal a while back? We had a troper remove it with no explanation. I have yet to receive a response from them when I asked why, so I restored it.
The powerful play goes on, and you may contribute a verse.
