This thread is for general discussion of page quotes, whether to change, move or remove them.
Unused quotes should be put on a Quotes Wiki page (just replace the namespace in the URL of the wiki page you are making a quotes page for with Quotes/).
Image captions are discussed elsewhere and have their own thread
in the Image Pickin' forum.

Re: Orcs: I think I prefer the first one suggested.
I Just Want to Be Beautiful has two. I don't like much either (the first one is too vague and not witty at all, the second one might work, perhaps), but I kind of fancy this one from the q-tab:
"I'm not asking much. It's not as if I want to be a rich beautiful, glamorous movie star. Or even a well-liked beautiful, glamorous movie star. I just want to be a beautiful, glamorous movie star for its own sake."

Dragon Rider has gotten double-quoted again, and like the consensus before I prefer the first one for focusing on the awesome. Any other suggestions? I'm surprised it doesn't have more for a quotes page.
Of these two, I prefer the first one. Though I have a feeling there is a potential for something even better.
I am as surprised as you are.
Those new suggested seem kind of long.

The first one is preferable, although we may be able to do better.
On an unrelated note, Drinking Game has three quotes, and, again, none of them are all that great.
Bigotry will NEVER be welcome on TV Tropes.
Here's some quotes for Drinking Game from the examples that seem better to me:
David Mitchell: I can't help but feel that the company wouldn't need to seek a merger if we hadn't adopted as company policy the idea of downing a glass of rare vintage claret every time someone says "merger". That Mitchell and Webb Look
Umpire: Okay, let's go over the ground rules. You can't leave first until you chug a beer. Any man scoring has to chug a beer. You have to chug a beer at the top of all odd-numbered innings. Oh, and the fourth inning is the beer inning. Chief Wiggum: [annoyed] Hey, we know how to play softball! The Simpsons, "Homer At The Bat"
EDIT: Still figuring out forums, fixed some errors.

Now casting my vote for How I Met Your Mother - I misread it the first time and didn't realize it was actually demonstrative, and it is the short and sweet version.

I've executed the Drinking Game.
AwesomeMusic.Music has two. I'm not keen on either, sadly.

re: Dragon Rider: Okay, something is really weird with the edit history, because it's not showing the removal of the old quote (and whoever did that failed to move it to the quotes page) or the addition of the new one.
That said, I agree with keeping the first quote and moving the second to the quotes page.
re: AwesomeMusic.Music: I'm not real thrilled with either of them, but I like the second one slightly better. That said, I wouldn't object if both got moved to a quotes page.

What bothers me is that there are much better quotes that could be on the Awesome Music page.
One good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain. Bob Marley
It is cruel, you know, that music should be so beautiful. It has the beauty of loneliness of pain: of strength and freedom. The beauty of disappointment and never-satisfied love. The cruel beauty of nature and everlasting beauty of monotony. Benjamin Britten
Music is the strongest form of magic. Marilyn Manson
Music is the fourth great material want, first food, then clothes, then shelter, then music. Christian Nestell Bovee
Music is a safe kind of high. Jimi Hendrix
I really like the quote by Benjamin Britten.
ERROR: The current state of the world is unacceptable. Save anyway? YES/NOJimi Hendrix's
.
Also, SugarWiki.Awesome Music has many sub-pages. You can check if they have quotes... (Some of them do, some of them don't.) But I'd like if they were somehow related to the medium as well. AwesomeMusic.Film should have something about both music and film etc.
AwesomeMusic.Music itself is divided to lots of sub-pages.
So yeah, we can go crazy with musical quotes and we don't even have to start a quote page.
Or alternatively, we can start a quote tab for the main sugar wiki page and keep the quotes organized.

I'm myself not that passionate about music, so anyone willing to take care of the sub-pages, please do so, and ideally post here what you did. The quotes are fine and deserve to be listed on this page.
I think we tend to agree to move the second one from Dragon Rider. I'm about to do so, but feel free to adjust it.
Anyway, new stuff to be dealt with: Officer and a Gentleman. What. the. hell? What is with these quotes?
- The page has 3 quotes — probably.
- The first one has no source, and how does that fit the trope exactly?
- The second one is way too long. Perhaps if it's trimmed, it could work, but I'm not sure's it's super relevant. The relevance to the trope is I think only the title of the source.
- The third quote: What? Fan Myopia much? I don't get it.
I propose to burn the first and the third. None should be moved. I'm not very keen on the second one either.

For Our Orcs Are Different, how about:
->"Wesnoth Orcs are brown; a portrait showing them as green is inconsistent." —>—Battle for Wesnoth Artistic Guidelines for Contributing Artists
Speaking words of fandom: let it squee, let it squee.
