I may have an interest in reading that, myself, and possibly think of a response. I actually enjoy writing Nat; her personality and mental issues make her fun to write.

Actually, I believe Hong Kong was one of the potential settings Aaron and I thought about using for the second game. It was either that or Shanghai.
One thing CG and I discussed doing was one set in the past, before A Game of Chance, so that at least it's before OCMPA gets involved. Whether it's only a few years in the past or a few centuries, it'd leave the contestants to fend for themselves. And as for the statement on eradicating teams, I agree that next time they should not be implemented. In the first game, there weren't any teams, and things worked out pretty damn well.
In addition, I feel lowering the player cap for the main game would immensely help the pacing issues we dealt with in round 2. 26 players made things too convoluted and time-consuming. However, as mentioned I am possibly thinking of starting a sort of side-RP so that people wanting to continue writing as their previous characters or simply want something to do to kill time won't be left out of the fun. It'd be a lot more laid-back than our main game, more of a sandbox sort of thing with more socialization between characters and small plotlines occasionally supplied by me, though in my vision of said potential RP most plotlines would be supplied by the players and organized with me via PM. Something like that would hopefully stay interesting, and help gain interest towards our main game.
Back on the subject of the main game, one idea for a particular theme CG and I had in mind was the Muses from Greek mythology, and an idea for last round that ultimately wasn't used was the Zodiac. A couple of other themes I personally had in mind are figures in fairy tales or folklore, the Chinese Zodiac, the Greek Titans, Egyptian deities, and possibly animals if there's any sort of element or myths associated with them. CG also brought up the possibility of biblical archangels.

Hi, nice seeing you. Didn't you participate for a short bit?
The Greek Muses would fit nicely with the Renaissance-era, and powers patterned off of Egyptian deities would actually be viewed as freaking awesome by contestants from a Victorian/1920s/1930s Western hemisphere setting because it was infatuated with the exotic. Egyptology took off, Tutankhamen was discovered, palace-like ocean liners got wrapped up in intense competition, the Titanic sank, and then it all went to hell when a guy named Frank was shot by some kid.

"Jack, you have debauched my sloth."It's mainly the atmosphere of a time we're going for. This feels strange to say, but so long as a case of historical inaccuracy doesn't adversely affect the plot, I probably won't care.
But I literally research history for fun, so... ' _ '
Also, if we make a game take place in the mid-eighties, I think we can be reasonably sure that the contestants are not going to be given brickphones, mainly because they look freaking ugly, weigh about half a pound, and cost almost ten times more in 1983 dollars than the iPhone 4S does now.

"Jack, you have debauched my sloth."She didn't want to risk killing herself on the large multitude of stairs in our house with only Imouto-chan around.
Yes, I'm bringing that nickname back.
EDIT: Also, since Round Two is officially over, would it be too soon to ask the players what their cards and targets were so I can fill it all into the character sheet?

"Jack, you have debauched my sloth."Assuming we go with the interlude that brings closure to the second round, I didn't know if someone wanted the cards to stay secret for some story-related reason, like two people forging a friendship or trust bond by sharing their cards, but I might've been worried about nothing. In that context, there's really no way to misuse public knowledge of cards because the game was not even on anymore.
Might as well do it now, since I really don't care. West's card was the Knight of Wands, and his target was the Page of Cups.

"Jack, you have debauched my sloth."I'll have to check later, but I'm fairly certain that Rosa was the King of Pentacles and I know for certain her target was the Queen of Cups.
Yeah, when she told people outside her team her card/target. . . Se was lying through her teeth most of the time.
“DAMMIT WHEN I HEAR 'SPACE CQC' ALL I CAN THINK OF IS BIG BOSS WITH A FISHBOWL ON HIS HEAD, STRANGLING AN ASTRONAUT OUTSIDE THE ISS."Also, for those interested, this was what I guessed the targets and cards to be, based on Pencil's theory.
TEAM ONE
King of Wands —> Queen of Pentacles
Queen of Cups —> Knight of Wands
Knight of Swords —> Page of Swords
Page of Pentacles —> King of Cups
TEAM TWO
King of Cups —> Queen of Wands
Queen of Wands —> Knight of Pentacles
Knight of Pentacles —> Page of Cups
Page of Swords —> King of Swords
TEAM THREE
King of Swords —> Queen of Swords
Queen of Pentacles —> Knight of Cups
Knight of Cups —> Page of Wands
Page of Wands —> King of Pentacles
TEAM FOUR
King of Pentacles —> Queen of Cups
Queen of Swords —> Knight of Swords
Knight of Wands —> Page of Pentacles
Page of Cups —> King of Wands
There's probably a glaring mistake somewhere in there, but I haven't looked at it in a while.

The last battle's curtains will open on stage!Well, I see at least one error already. Namely, Simon was in team two, while his card, the Queen of Pentacles is set in team three. Meanwhile, his target card, the Knight of Pentacles is set in his own team. So yeah.

I'm also familiar with the St. Louis area. And the holes can be filled by contacting family members.
