Ever see her original Star Sapphire costume? It was pretty conservative.
I'd like to see Nightwing/Dick Grayson get more love. I know, he's got a pretty big fanbase and DC seems committed to keeping him out there, but I'd like to see him be more of a power player and see his book written with a little more scope and imagination. Most of the writers of his own book have felt like they were kind of phoning it in; it wasn't bad, per se, just kind of uninspired. I was most disappointed by Marv Wolfman's run; Wolfman wrote a great Dick Grayson for most of his run on The New Teen Titans, but if his recent turn with the character is any indication, he doesn't seem to think Dick should ever win, just whine and get kicked around a lot...sorry, I got into a bit of a rant there. Nightwing, yes. Nightwing.
I'd like to see Captain Marvel get back into the spotlight. I know, he's going to show up in the new Justice League run, and he's got a role in Young Justice, but I feel bad that he's mostly faded from public consciousness.
Oh, and Mister Bones. Superstrong skeleton man with poison powers who works for a shady agency? Yes please.

I really hope so.
Miss Martian also needs more love. We need some Fun Personified heroes.

Huntress. She's a crossbow sniper, capable martial artist, and gorgeous.
With blood and rage of crimson red ripped from a corpse so freshly dead together with our hellish hate we'll burn you all that is your fateI'll tell you a DC character that needs more love, and that's...Lazara! Who's this, you might ask? Well, just check this
out (Warning, probably Not Safe for Work).
Really, this character only appears in 17 issues and seems to have gone the way of Brother Chuck? For shame!

Oh, Equestria, we stand on guard for thee!
Yeah, Azrael needs way more love than he got!
The Cape
. You know, the character who appeared in that TV Show which got cancelled after one season? The funny thing is, the comic book version and the TV version are very different from each other. The TV Show was probably the biggest attempt at prominence on the character's part!

Oh, Equestria, we stand on guard for thee!I'd like to see some more of Catman, specially on the "new" continuity.
Although there are plenty of characters who seem to have vanished from the DCU, which no one seems to notice (at least in forums and message boards I've seen). Mostly Jay Garrick and Stephanie Brown.

How about The Phantom? It's true that he had been handled by more than one company, but DC Comics handled the character at one point.
This guy came out before Batman, and has lasted at least 1600 consecutive issues! A character like that totally deserves love and respect!

Oh, Equestria, we stand on guard for thee! Here's another character that needs more love: Anarky! The poor guy was absent for about 10 years!
As his name implies, he is very much against the state and authority. I'm not sure myself if he's supposed to be a villain or an Anti-Hero. He did save a kid from falling to his death in Knightfall, when Jean Paul @$$h0!e Valley was willing to let the kid die just to take down Scarecrow. Anarky sure came off as more heroic than Valley did at that point!
Oh, and it has also been suggested that he's the biological son of The Joker! Is that scary or what? It's too bad that this New 52 relaunch on DC's part has probably given this character the shaft...again!

Oh, Equestria, we stand on guard for thee!Poor Amethyst Princess Of Gemworld. This character was made back in the 1980's, and that was way before Sailor Moon showed up in the 1990's. It was an interesting series...until Audience-Alienating Premise and Franchise Original Sin came and killed it! If it had been made in the 1990's, it would have been better off.
Ever since then, Amethyst has only made a few appearances and absolutely no attempt has been made on where she stands in DC Comics. It's like the fans are the only ones who care!

There's a discussion going for Marvel characters, but how about DC?
My list of DC characters in need of more love includes: Carol Ferris, Pied Piper, and Beast Boy/Changeling.
