3D PRINTING ORGANS, BLOOD VESSELS AND ALL, TAKES A BIG STEP TOWARD REALITY

The All Caps were already on the article title.

The make up bit is cool.

He may have argued that it's overhyped, but he mostly just said "these things will happen someday; just not now."

A nut job printing off plastic guns giving sloppy excuses for it. In other news water is wet. :P

3D printer can print 'fruit'

Fruit's a bit of a misnomer here.

I wonder when they'll use 3D printing to create nanomachines or microorganisms.

May be a while yet since we are still tinkering with tiny machines.

The first two are a bit misleading in their titles but interesting none the less. The light drawing thing isn't all that impressive and has been done before with other things.

Its cool that more companies are embracing at least the prototyping part of 3d printing. It hopefully speeds up development and fixes of products.

"3d printed" yarn structures are surprisingly robust Interesting but I am not sure if I would call this 3d printing and not just a fancy weaving machine.

[up] it's kind of both. 3-D printing tech, but what it's actually doing is weaving.

More on making buildings with 3D printers

I really like the idea of building non-traditional houses with curved walls or almost video game-like layouts. Look at the picture lower in the article that shows a cross-section of such a house. I'd love to see how unique towns and cities will start looking later on, once this technology matures.

It will put construction workers out of business and massively lower the costs of making buildings, as well as the amount of time it takes to make them. It will change things a lot, that's for sure.
