Just read our article about Series.Lost Girl which is mostly about the Showcase series.
Now having to kick up some shit. Nothing is ever about the Showcase series. Of anything.

Goal: Clear, Concise and WittyBeen watching it since last year. Best supernatural show I've seen since...Buffy and Angel imo.
Plus superhot bisexual main character. Yes please
Checked it out and really like it so far, but holy shit is this show heavy on fanservice. I haven't seen this much sex scenes since torchwood. I don't mind though.
You lost!
The fanservice tapers off a bit once the show finds its feet. The first few episodes are much racier in that regard than the rest of the series.
How do you know that? I thought this was an original series, at least that's what the ads say. Or by "original" do they mean "ripped off from a British series of the same name and changed just enough so we can technically call it 'original'". Oh and just watched the first episode. They had me at "You're pretty." in the elevator. "I'm only into guys" Yeah, right, and Newt Gingrich is going to come out in favor of gay marriage any day now.
Trump delenda estIts a Canadian show well into its second season.
"You want to see how a human dies? At ramming speed." - Emily Wong.Well, I am halfway through season 2 now (yes i binge very fast), so give me another week and you can drop the spoilers for me.
You lost!Oooh new love interest in the latest ep. I like him. Dyson's a bit too broody and Lauren's a bit too wishy-washy for my taste (despite the Girl-on-Girl is Hot angle).
"You want to see how a human dies? At ramming speed." - Emily Wong.Let me go find a copy to watch, I saw this and thought it looked interesting (but can never remember when new shows are on).

I know right? And we don't seem to be the only ones, as fas as i can see on youtube and google. The thing is, these kind of characters are tricky, if you screw up they get obnoxious and become The Scrappy. But the writers of Lost Girl did it right, apparently.

You lost!I'm pretty sure it means "we bought it, so it's ours, niener niener niener" when Sy Fy says it. That's my impression from Stargate anway.
Fight smart, not fair.Having watched the season 1 finale, I have to say, The Love Interest was kinda Genre Blind that he didn't see his love being the thing he valued most being taken, it's kind of obvious if he's willing to trade something for it.
Fight smart, not fair.I've watched every episode so far, so I am way into season 2. I have to say I was waiting for Bo to get more... involved with the Dark Fea, because like Ryan said, otherwise she would be basically Light Fea. Still, i was hoping for some Dark Is Not Evil stuff, but so far it doesn't look like that. Even if they are all Jerks, Light still is the "good one".

You lost!Well, they're defining Light and Dark in the terms of "is it okay to kill humans for giggles?" so since she's decided on human, she's basically Light, but more so.
Fight smart, not fair.I think we've seen a lot of the Light and not much of the Dark. I'd like to see the various Dark viewpoints explored a bit more and if this happens via Lambert and sexy threesomes, all power to it

ALERT, ALERT, ALERT.
SYFI series Lost Girl has a significant number of way-cool indicators. I watched the preme, and I got a major "cool shit coming" vibe. You guys know me. I do not go like that often.
Here is my evidence:
Pickpocket Girl has some things about her we want to learn. Cop-With-Stubble-Guy has some things about him we want to learn. Succubus-Cleavage-Girl has that cleavage thing, but she also has that "How did she get all grow-ed up without the clan?" thing going on. Also, the actress hath major chops.
Must confess. I have a crush on Pickpocket Girl. Latvian women are like that. They are hording up all the good genes and expressing them in ways that make the men weak.
