"Welcome to the Velvet Room." An accented voice called out within the depths of interior of the Velvet Room. Seated upon the leather seats were two people, an elderly man in a fine suit with a nose akin to a crow's beak, and a blonde female attendant sharply dressed in blue and gold.

"It has seem that you are progressing finely through your journey." The female called out, the viewpoint now focused on the foreign woman. A smile accompanied her sentence as she peered at the many tarot cards that sank into her Compendium, opening it up and displaying the links that the addressee had accomplished.

"However, we have received word that your journey has opened a new route for you to walk." The eerily eager looking man stared directly at the unseen figure as he smiled. "Interesting... Prepare for it. It might prove... fun to you."

With a smile, the wizened man waved his gloved hand and the dream ended, darkness stealing over vision. The last thing seen by Yu Narukami was a mysterious smile foretelling things to come...

Those special beings selected by either chance, fate, or fortune would hear the telltale whistle of a locomotive in the very fringes of their hearing. It came from no specific direction, no. It was just there, a siren call that beckoned to the chosen few.

The source was heard, but not seen. In fact, nothing would appear unless one went to look for it. Those that did would then find themselves inexplicably on situated an abandoned station somehow, their very surroundings immediately that of the new territory. Empty kiosks lined the place, looking deserted. The sky was not the blue one would reckon with Earth, but rather a molten gold that enveloped the new world like a an omelet. It glistened with a luxurious sheen, as though it was all one huge veil of liquid. The barest tinges of azure sparks rippled throughout the atmosphere every now and then, like resurfacing fish in an opaque pool. The effect was surreal to say the least.

A single ticket would also appear on those who ventured into the station through the dimensions, a little scrap of cream paper with crimson ink inscribed upon it. The only words that could be read in the individual's native language was simply labeled "Origin Road" among scrawling alien script of curling numerals and what appeared to be pictograms.

The slightest breezes blew through the cobblestone station with its indecipherable signs and schedules, seemingly tugging people toward the furthest building at the edge of the station, the one closest to the rails. It was unknown whether a train still ran, or if there were even staff... But there still might be a chance, right?

Sanae, busy standing around trying to look impressive (well, she had been sweeping for a bit before that but, by now, there was nothing for her to sweep) heard what sounded like a whistle on the edge of hearing. Either there was some strange youkai doing stuff or the kappa were conducting strange tests likely to end in explosions. Either way, for the good of Gensokyo, the shrine maiden couldn't just stand there!

The green-haired girl took to the sky, following the source of the whistle... only to land in an abandoned train station, with nothing there worth commenting on overly much. The sky, was weird, though... maybe it was the gap youkai that was behind this?

"Yakumo-san, are you trying to make a ghost story?"

No reply.

So... what to do now? Hmm, she might still have some onigiri left over from lunch...

Once again, the armour-clad warrior drifted through the Void, lamenting his terrible luck. It had been a while since he was spit out into some other world. And while it had felt like a decade or so since he was last in his own home world, at least there were awesome weapons to find and some cool people to fight elsewhere. Until the Void claimed him once again.

Gilgamesh sighed. A mighty warrior like him shouldn't be stuck in this situation! He should be on the battlefield with his greatest rival! Duking it out in a great clash of blades that never seemed to end! Hell, he'd fight the whole gang again! Sure, one was still a id, but considering she had a bad ass grandfather that somehow passed his strength to her, she was as great a warrior as the rest.

Interrupting Gil's reminiscing was what sounded like a... train whistle? Huh? Why was there a train in the Void? Surely he would have noticed a station by now?
...Well, it wasn't his imagination, so what did this mean?

"Oh! The way home, that must be it!" Gilgamesh realised, and immediately made movements akin to desperately swimming as he attempted to follow the noise's source. It had been a while since Gil had traversed solid ground in this empty blue realm.

Making steady progress, Gilgamesh was interrupted when he fell face first onto the ground. for a moment, he didn't move. Then he suddenly sprang to his feet with amazing grace and speed for someone wearing what had to be impossibly heavy armour.

"...Damn it all! Train, you lied to me!" Gilgamesh cried out, seeing that he was still not home, after, but merely a train station, occupied by one oddly-dressed girl. "You promised me a way home! How could you betray me?!"

Gilgamesh yelled at the absent, offending train for a while longer before calming down and turning towards the girl with green hair. Huh, it had been a while since he saw someone who didn't have brown or blonde hair.

Gilgamesh walked towards the girl. "Excuse me, odd-looking miss! Would you be so kind as to tell me where this place is? And where the train is so I can beat it up?"

Well then... you didn't normally hear that when you were hanging around in the local broom closet. Specifically, the broom closet was an excellent place to launch illusions from on newcomers to the temple. They were harmless, but the reactions she would get to them? Nue giggled to herself at the thought. But now there was that whistling... what was that?

She opened the closet door and peered out, sure not to expose herself too much. After all, it'd be difficult to keep on pranking if people saw her. What the yokai didn't expect was to suddenly be transferred to a... train station...? on attempting to locate the source of the whistle.

Well then.

This was weird.

But not Nue-weird! This place needed some Nue-weirdness, which required illusions in place to frighten people, and-Nue's 'wings' went straight and rigid.

That... that was the green-haired miko.

Kochiya.

Nue recalled the last time she had been around Kochiya. It had included, among other things, investigation of her wings, invasion of her personal space, and general fangirling.

It was weird!

Nue looked for a route of escape. The miko would doubtlessly see her, attempting an illusion wasn't of use at the moment...

"Furball, what are you doing!?" Issun yelled out, desperately trying to stay on the white wolf's head. A pant is the only thing he recieved in response. Through the forest, down a steep slope and into a train station. A train was the last thing anyone expected to hear in Kamiki Village. One moment they're celebrating the defeat of Orochi, and the next morning this happened.

Amaterasu sped up, her four legs bashing against the ground as the wind moved through her fur. Flowers bloomed from the ground as she ran, springing to life one instant and then disappearing the next. Wait... what was that.. a green haired girl?

With no way to stop, Amaterasu... ran head first into the girl called Sanae.

Sanae turned around when someone called out to her, looking at the figure with some measure of confusion. He seemed familiar, somehow... but she couldn't place why this was, exactly. And then, before she had a chance to reply, Nue showed up.

"Alien-san! It's good to-" the shrine maiden began, only to be knocked from her feet by a speeding wolf. A speeding wolf that had weird feathery things and was on fire... though she seemed more like a big dog, and there was only one reaction in Sanae's mind when it came to such creatures.

The shrine maiden hugged the creature that had knocked her down. "So cute~"

"Huh, what?! huh?" Gilgamesh leaped back in shock as the large wolf creature monster thing suddenly barrelled into the poor girl. Gaping, he shook his head and brought out two of his weapons from... somewhere. Maybe the Void.

With The almighty 'Chicken Knife' in one hand, and the blade known as 'Durandal' in the other, Gilgamesh roared his challenge. "Foul monster of admitted beauty and grace! For the crime of attacking weak, helpless and totally powerless civilians, I, the almighty and renowned Gilgamesh will destroy you!"

Clearly missing the hug that showed Sanae was in no danger, Gilgamesh charged at the wolf, tripped after two steps, and face planted, the weapons clattering away somewhere.

"Kochiya-san, uh, I really have to..." Nue trailed off when the wolf tackled Sanae directly in front of her. From the looks of things, maybe she wouldn't need and excuse to get away from the miko, she seemed wholly distracted by the sudden wolf. It was a weird wolf, though. As a supernatural creature, Nue had no trouble discerning the wolf's unique features... she just didn't know what they meant.

"Wahaha~! Pretty clumsy, ain'tcha, Mr. Samurai?" A loud, booming laugh echoed from an incredibly cheerful looking young woman. Even if she wasn't so loud, she would've stuck out quite a bit, as her hair was bright bubblegum pink and styled into drills. Standing beside her was a much quieter girl, with short black hair and glasses.

The black haired girl began making several rapid motions with her hands, causing the pink haired one to turn to her for a moment, before turning back to the rest of the group. "Um... As representatives of the Yamaku High Student Council, we are honoured to meet you all~ I am council president Shizune Hakamichi, and this is my assistant Shiina Mikado~" She paused for a moment, before realising what was wrong with what she said. "Um... That's what Shicchan says, hah! I am Shiina, but everyone calls me Misha! Nice meeting you all, wahaha~!"

Ammy felt Sanae's hug and replied with a lick to the face. And then another, and then another. The wolf was playful. "Furball, what are you doing?" Issun continued to bounce up and down on the white wolf's head before noticing the green haired girl, finally. "Hehehe..." the tiny bug worked its way down Ammy's head and then leap, into the girl's breast he goes.

The wolf goddess pulled herself off of Sanae, looking around. She then sat down, scratching her head with her hind leg.

"Kochiya Sanae!" the miko replied, waving and trying to get to her feet. She hadn't yet noticed Issun's attempts to get at her breasts, mostly because she was dressed up warmly against the winter chill she had just come from. "So... umm... what's your name, doggy? Most dogs don't have flaming shield things behind them..."

With Amaterasu holding her interest, Nue was safe for the moment, giving her an opportunity to try and find someone to shield her from the strange girl's interests.

Clumsy? Someone called Gilgamesh clumsy? What? That was completely inaccurate!

...Says the man still on the ground.

Much like before, Gilgamesh easily leaped to his feet, unperturbed by all the armour. Turning to the pink-haired girl and her quieter associate, Gilgamesh puffed out his chest. Not that it was all that noticeable with all that metal in the way.

"'Shiina', was it? Well, I'll have you know that every action I perform, every movement I make, is a carefully calculated manoeuvre that will ultimately serve to bring about the downfall of my opponent! Not that I expect an obvious non-combatant to understand what a true warrior thinks!"

Gilgamesh then began looking around his non-existent pockets. "Also, you're friend seems quiet. Has she been inflicted with Silence? I might have an ech-oh god that girl!"
Remembering that a poor girl had been attacked by that monster, Gilgamesh wheeled around to see that the girl was perfectly fine, and the monster looked more like a docile wolf. Huh.

... Well then, that was that. Nue turned around, just in time to see the pink-haired girl with the entertaining hairstyle, and her black-haired companion.

... Given that Nue was fairly small, these two looked like excellent people to hide behind to avoid sudden personal space invasion by Sanae. Almost immediately, she cast a quick smile at the pink-haired girl who had introduced herself as Misha, before hiding behind her as quickly as possible.

"Gah!" realizing that it was a losing battle, Issun leaped off of Sanae's winter jacket and plopped himself down onto Ammy's head. "Alright well babe, THIS HERE is Okami Amaterasu, but you can just call her furball." the bug bounced up and down, glowing a faint green as he always did.

"Raooowww!" Amaterasu let out a low-toned howl before laying down on the ground.

"Hey, Ammy, get up!" the dog pulled its head up as Issun spoke. A yawn and then it was back onto the ground.

"Did you really drink that much at the party? (Should have saved some sake for me...)" the bug whispered before looking to Sanae again, "Yeah, as I was saying, this here is the great Amaterasu!"

The pink-haired girl looked rather awkward as she said that, and in her awkwardness didn't notice Nue hiding behind her. Shizune, however, did, and fiddled with the frame of her glasses as she stared at the strange girl.

After a few moments, she decided that the girl was perhaps asking her name. After all, Nue knew that there was some kind of language that was made with hand gestures, and she had just met her.

Well, it seemed the girl was in no danger, so now Gilgamesh could query the pink-haired one and her strange words. "'RPG'? 'Really Pretty Gilgamesh? Flattering, young miss, but I don't quite und-egads, a monster!"

Gilgamesh saw what looked like a girl with... uh, pointy things emerging from her back. No doubt a poorly disguised monster attempting to claim that poor girl for her own. As if he wouldn't notice the attempt to tuck her wings away! Well, not if Gilgamesh had any say in the matter!

"Fear not, silent one! I will slay this creature!" Gilgamesh bellowed, clearly missing the fact she was completely harmless, with Shizune even attempting to converse with it.

More hammerspace action brought out a large spear, coloured a faded gold. "With the mighty Gungnir, you will fall!" The mighty warrior cried out, rushing forward. Just as he leaped however, he tripped. It looked like he fell on thin air, but that couldn't be possible... could it?

Either, Gilgamesh was back on the ground, Gungnir slipping away towards the girls. "...Oooh." He groaned.

"Arf!" Ammy saw what Gilgamesh tried to do this time. He charged and then he fell in thin air. THAT WAS HER CUE! She ran forward as the spinning, flame shield on her back revolved at a rapid pace. The wolf leaped into the air and then landed on Gilgamesh's back. One quick look around and she couldn't find the culprit.

"Ammy, down!" said Issun. The dog looked down and surely, there he was, on the ground, already subdued. A little leap off of the guy and a lick to the face to wake him up.

Aaaand the man managed to trip himself on air. That was just amazing, really.

"Are you the newcomers?" A youthful voice rang out from the lone kiosk near the rail, inquisitive and forward. With an audible click of the opened lock, the person inside suddenly threw open the door with a crash and rushed out. Said person seemed to be... an invisible being, wearing a crisp white shirt, a tweed hat, and a pair of tan trousers upheld by suspenders along with leather shoes. "I'm so very sorry!" The figure exclaimed as he dashed toward the group, before hopping the last few steps and transitioning into a bow, the shirt around his waist as he bent at an angle. With the hat slipping off his unseen head, something grabbed it and pushed it back on, the thing looking as though grabbed by a hand. The scent of ink and old paper pervaded the air, tinting it like the inside of a paper press.

"Alright, then. Does everyone have their tickets?" The clothed phantom figure inquired as he finally straightened up. The tone of voice he had was much akin to an eager rookie hoping to make a good impression. That was amplified by the fact the clothes seemed to be bobbing up and down, as if whoever was wearing them was so excited he was literally on his toes with anticipation.

"...My ticket home?" Gilgamesh asked hopefully. "The train ''wasn't' lying after all?"
