Not a straight example, but I love The Lathe of Heaven. Its about a man who tries to create a utopia from his dreams, though it ends up as a dystopia. Its pretty much a theme of all Le Guin science fiction to have dystopias contrasting with utopias. Another one I'd recommend is Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep. Fahrenheit 451 is good too though nearly everyones read it already.

You could try We, but I can't say how good it is, I haven't had the time to read it yet. Though I hear it's considered a classic even before Brave New World and Nineteen Eighty Four.
