Speaking of shows and movies, I just got some unexpected good luck. I thought I was going to get The Bad Guys via Netflix in the mail. Instead, I’ll be getting a show I haven’t seen in years and that I still very much like: Record of Lodoss War: Chronicles of the Heroic Knight.

So my computer's suddenly made like. A banging sound and switched off.
Wouldn't start up again.
My redheaded love looked this up on my smartphone that she uses (I don't mind though) and said something about the PSU ("power supply unit" in this case, I'm guessing, rather than "Phantasy Star Universe") or something about a capacitor (whatever that is; it's above my head).
My noirette love put in a spare PSU and graphics card (apparently the previous graphics card wouldn't have worked with the spare PSU or something) and now the computer's working, though slower than usual (and noticeable slowdown on several games I love playing).
Like.
Seriously. Just not a good year, is it.
