Which is just a humanoid version of the Revolver Stake
& Big-O Punch
and a mechanical version of the Big Bang Punch
& Falcon Punch
.
I dislike people who say "Nanoha invented them all" just as much as the people who say "Madoka invented them all" or "Gurren Lagann invented them all".

I'm beginning to think invisible Homages are the reason the Shout-Out pages/examples on a lot of shows are ridiculous.
Back to Symphogear: Just saw episode 6, I like where this is headed and I'm half sad to see it go after seven more episodes and half happy that the ending is only seven episodes away.
Infinity...Do we really want to go into Japanese characters being tortured on crucifixes?
Heck, I think even Sailor Moon did it!
Infinity...How much of them were Dark Magical Girl S?
Anyway I were firstly also sceptical, but it gradualy acumulated in manner I belive it is true.
It seems like you realy want this show be absolutely original, with itself doesn't has any meaning. Tropes Are Not Bad. Realy aren't.
My impression on the FIRST episode. Because first impressions are always important.
Here goes
+Already, one reason for me to prefer this over Madoka anytime : it's honest about whatever it has, instead of Lying Credits
-But already, it gave me the impression that the storyboarders of this anime hated Suite Pretty Cure for a reason
+Ok, so the scope of the threat is already too big and public. But I can deal with it instead of lying mascots
+I don't know what just happened but apparently ZUN got a kick at composing the theme of Hibiki's transformation, while the headgear makes her look like Miko, and.... rather than Gungnir, Hibiki got to look more like Fenrir more than anything
Ok, so mixed reaction on my part. But I'm interested, and only mid-episodes will make me decide whether or not to drop this into a bucket of spiders

What profit is it to a man, when he gains his money, but loses his internet? Anonymous 16:26 I believe...The Sheer Volume of Les Yay made it seem like that Hibiki was Cheating with Miku on Tsubasa with this episode, right to the heartbroken look on miku's face catching the two together in the hospital being buddy buddy with each other.
Considering how much Les Yay there is, it kinda makes sense to see that way.
And Shin Shoryuken finisher is awesome finisher. I knew Red Head guy was Akuma, I just knew it.

Watch Symphogear Well, what's more important is Tsubasa seems to be cheating on Kanade with Hibiki which makes sense due to the Ironic Echo but it's kind of still desecrating her memory. And what about the dibs Ryouko has on Hibiki? And did anybody notice that in episode 4 Chris was totally all Psycho Lesbian for Hibiki?
Oh my goodness this entire show is actually about Hibiki's Unwanted Harem!
Seriously guys, there is absolutely no Les Yay on this show, we just have really dirty dirty minds.
Infinity...![]()

Uhh... I don't usually jump at Les Yay, but it's a bit hard to argue with the things Hibiki was saying to Miku in bed in episode 2.
Fear not, my mind is sufficiently filthy that it averages out to one hundred percent filthy across all contributors.
Fight smart, not fair.
If the protagonists were male, we would be faced with yaoi.
EDIT: Wait, I'm getting my Yuri focused shows confused -_-. Ignore what I said about Ho Yay in the enemy ranks.
Anyways, all Magical Girl shows have some Les Yay. It's a truth of the genre.

Full Battle Mode

I don't know about madoka references, but Nanoha is pretty obvious. Several Homages included. And don't try argue after todays "Revolver Cannon"
