Born This Way was probably one of the most overhyped albums ever. They were advertising it months in advance and no album that isn't Thriller or Sgt. Pepper deserves that kind of hype.
More Buscemi at http://forum.reelsociety.com/I'll be honest, I was completely underwhelmed due to the hype too. Though also because they claimed there would be a lot more rock influence and I found most of it to be more Eurobeat than anything. (Not to say I didn't like the whole album—I liked plenty of songs from it.)
Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle.I'd guess it caused more units to be sold?
Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle.2011 had We Found Love and Super Bass so I'll put it ahead, 2010 only had Teenage Dream.
I'm definitely forgetting things, though.
I think more Lady Gaga is a good thing, though, Judas and Marry the Night are kickass songs.
They're off the streets now, and back on the road on the riot trail. http://www.last.fm/user/sca_punk
I dunno, "Judas" is my least favorite song of hers. Especially since it just seems like "Bad Romance" rehashed with religious symbolism.
Well, the the other day I made a pretty kickass cover of "Nowhere Man". That counts, right?

Is it just me, or does anyone think that there were a lot more awesome pop songs released in 2010 than in 2011? 2010 was the year that Dynamite, King of Anything, and The Show Goes On were all released. And I can't think of any song released in 2011 that I like as much.
