Hey guys, Desparately need some book recommendations, kindle versions only, as I have a long journey tomorrow with no respite in view. I enjoy po-mo, mindscrew, satire, political commentary, sci-fi and speculative fiction but have already read the usual classics... Help!

Some of the Discworld novels fill the "satire, political commentary" criteria. I'd recommend the Moist books (Going Postal and Making Money).

Now, to the mindscrew department. There is Zoo by Otsuichi, but I'm afraid it's not available on Kindle.

Oh, oh, there's also The Posthumous Memoirs of Bras Cubas by Machado de Assis, which is a Brazilian classic about a man who dies and exposes his pessimistic views about society to the reader in his own afterlife. And if you want another one of this author's notable works, try Dom Casmurro, which is about an Unreliable Narrator exposing his past.

I've read all of the discworld books, my favourite series of books by far! The other suggestions look quite good, but I was thinking something along the lines of neal stephenson or aldous huxley or gravity's rainbow or the illuminatus! trilogy or something? (lots of 'or's...)

Have you read American Psycho? It fits your mindscrew and satire categories.

For a good romp how about Jim Hines' Jig the Goblin series? They're satirical, fun, and clever. Basically a Dn D campaign told from a dungeon mook's perspective. ...and the heroes are mostly sociopaths. Very amusing sociopaths.

Have you read Gene Wolfe's Book of The New Sun? Definitely one of my favorite pieces of speculative fiction. I'd also recommend read The Metamorphosis of Prime Intellect. Of course I'm excluding Phillip K. Dick and J.G. Ballard as you say you've read the usual classics.
