There's always the Dark Ascension set of Magic: The Gathering:

Scorned Villager /Moonscarred Werewolf = Little Red Riding Hood
Lambholt Elder /Silverpelt Werewolf = Grandmother
Huntmaster of the Fells /Ravager of the Fells = The Hunter

The catch is - They're all werewolves!

@ Elephant in the beginning. Of course there is a lot of originality left. As long as history continues to happen, fiction and stories will continue to stem from the great story history is and has always been.

I have read before some idiots complaining that everything has been written. I think we will sooner be done mapping the sky to the last star than writing everything that can be written.
