I'm just gonna leave Alan where he is, playing guitar for money and trying to avoid getting hit in the head by quarters.
Alan's really in no position to be able to do anything else but this, at any rate. Needs money for food and a room and all.
"You lost, Dio. You lost for one simple reason - you were using charcoal." - Hank HillWhen taken with the change, by your words, it's enough for the expedition. Alan doesn't know that's enough, to start. What he does know is he needs all the money he can get, because he at least needs food by tomorrow-ish. He could use that now, but he's trying to get as much as he can.

"You lost, Dio. You lost for one simple reason - you were using charcoal." - Hank HillI must raise the point that it's not hard at all to start a little socializing now, and it doesn't even need to be some long discussion. Short of a timeskip, that's really the only way to get this moving. We either have about 16 different people with either seperate expeditions or just conveniently one guide between them all, or sub-groups forming up with possibly guides that have different takes on how to reach the pillar of light for a bit of separation and variety.
That's my two cents on it anyway, but my initial point stands: We're kinda slowing this down by keeping to ourselves. I honestly wouldn't mind a little retconning or something to have more characters up and about in Cusco.

"You lost, Dio. You lost for one simple reason - you were using charcoal." - Hank HillThere we go. A little something to possibly provide peeps with tour guides.
I just had a post in my first RP that petered out. If nothing else, it's made plain to me my biggest G Ming flaw: forgetting the loose ends. From now on I'm going to have a response for just about anything here ready to post. Even if I don't need to post it, I need to be prepared and comprehensive.
Don't worry about it, I don't think you'll miss too much.

I wouldn't reccomend following those words literally. It's one thing to see that you need to have more clarity in what possible responses you might need to give, but you're never going to know every possible reaction to something.
In addition to that, it overcomplicates things by a long shot: Assuming you aren't doing so much planning ahead that you have a forest of If-Then reactions in a single/multiple documents, you're still having to think much more than you should for mostly no gain.
My personal advice is to have a strong idea of what directions can be taken, and be prepared to think on the fly for those you didn't think of. If you know what you want to post beforehand in a general sense, it's alot better for you and your creativity/sanity than trying to make a post for every outcome.
Not feeling too good right now; i'm gonna try to update R Ps and head off to Skyrim /partake in the adventures of The Gangster Your Man Could Smell Like rest.
