With a doubly annoyed look, Alan turned to the lumberjack, barking, "EIGHT ARMS!", before looking back. "Loud fuckers... Anyway, only way anyone's getting those details out of me is if i'm drunk. Then, it would be less believable and more of a fairy tale. Sober, i'm just crazy. Actually, i'll be labelled crazy both ways... look, all I want right now is to get cleaned up and have the questions Sergeant Dumbass wouldn't answer answered. Other than that last bit, let's agree to not give a shit about eachothers lives."

"You lost, Dio. You lost for one simple reason - you were using charcoal." - Hank Hill"Agreed, Mr Jackson. Penny! Come and help heal this guy so he can start talking."
"What about Ms Ryuhayashi?" asked Penny imploringly."
"Hayashi? Name rings a bell." Natalie pulled out a PDA and searched on it for a second. "Oh yeah, that's the one. Sorry, Mister Hayashi, your mentor notification letter got lost on the way to you. We're in the process of tracking down the appropriate windshield wiper."
And a Strange Figure Emerges.Alan shook his head. "No, I mean literally cleaned up; I have hardly any scratches from the fight. My clothes need a wash. I need a wash. I might over-exaggerate the smell, but it'd still be nice to get cleaned up somehow."
"You lost, Dio. You lost for one simple reason - you were using charcoal." - Hank HillNatalie nodded nervously at this. "Okay, see, I'd say that's more than enough information right there. Unless you expect us to take you to a shower and laundromat-"
"Ooh! Ooh! Lydia has a shower and a laundry thing!"
"Penny, you can't be suggesting he get cleaned up at her house."
"Sure! She won't mind!"
"Not her, it's her father minding that I'm worried about."
"Pshaw. Lydia and I shall defeat count grumpypants with our combined powers of adorableness!"
And a Strange Figure Emerges."I wasn't expecting you to. I meant that the only thing you're involved with is answering questions. By the 'clean up' part, I meant moreso it should probably wait until after that was done. I wasn't really clear on that."
Alan went semi wide-eyes at the suggestion. "Oh hell no, i'm not barging into someone's house to get clean. I'll work for the money to pay for it; i've done the same many times before. Although you can't really pay to- goddamnit I just got myself knee deep in shit I didn't mean to, didn't I?"
"You lost, Dio. You lost for one simple reason - you were using charcoal." - Hank HillTerry arrived to the motel where his parents stayed via his motorbike. He got off and entered the motel.
"Oh, hey, kiddo, how are you doing?" Terry's father asked.
"Eh... I'm doing good." Terry said.
"I am so glad you are finally able to move on..." Terry's mother added as she held Terry.
"...Yeah..." Terry said. "Though... I shall only find peace when they're dead..." Terry thought. "I've been thinking... Should... Should I stay here? I mean, I think this place gave me a new and entertaining purpose for me to love." Terry asked.
"Well, I'm not exactly sure. But ever since that hike, you've been better. I'd say stay." Terry's father said.
"But... what about his career?" Terry's mother asked.
"That's okay, Mom. I think I know what Pa is saying." Terry said. "I think I'll stay for a bit..." Terry said to his dad.
"Very well, son. When you're ready to leave, just send me an e-mail and I'll arrange a flight for you." His dad said.
"Just ignore her, she gets a little excited about little ideas like these. Penny? The healing?"
Penny went over and pressed her hands on the soldier, and a blue glow emanated.
Karina sat on a rooftop, looking out at the view with the white line in the distance. She sadly contemplated her conversation with Terry, and noted how easy he found it to be a regular chatty guy one moment, then switch to being a vow-spouting vengeance-centric cold blooded killer the next. Did the magic of the Heart change him? Or on some level, was he like that all along? She sighed. He obviously meant well, and had good intentions for the world. But Natalie had been so antsy and quick to bark on the subject of Revenge Lightlives. From the conversations she'd had with other guardians, they had a rather unsavoury reputation. Part of her wondered if that was justified.
There was a muted boom sound off in the distance. Brief glows of red came and went in the valley. Karina stood up. Something was coming. Something person shaped, scarlet, and flying towards the city at sixty miles per hour.
"Ay virgen."
And a Strange Figure Emerges."Because we need answers," replied Natalie, "And I think we're more likely to get answers from a man in constant pain from a few bullets under healed skin than we are from one who's delirious from blood loss."
Terry may have noted flecks of red and green flickering in the distance outside the window.
And a Strange Figure Emerges.Far off at the edge of town, there came bursts of sound. To the untrained ear, they may have been thunder. But in truth these bolts were of magic, launched from the hands of Karina and of the mysterious assailant, as Karina desperately tried to prevent him from entering town.
And a Strange Figure Emerges."Well, I think he..."
The soldier moaned.
"Yeah, that should do it," said Penny.
"Lets get him out of the way and out of sight. Civilians should be flooding back in any moment now." Natalie and Penny grabbed a shoulder and a leg, and proceeded to drag him out of the road.
And a Strange Figure Emerges. When it was announced that the pink-haired girl was older than she looks, John bluntly said "Your 38-years old? Does that mean you wished to relive your youth?"
Gary couldn't help think what sort of situation he and his son had gotten into. He picked up the man, despite part of him saying he should try to avoid doing anything in this strange event.
Some people say I'm lazy. It's hard to disagree.

"Lightlives? I have still not gotten an answer to my question." Hayashi said and crossed his arms
