Since this is the closest I saw to a general Marvels thread, can anyone identify the source of the picture on Time for Plan B?
Fight smart, not fair.Set is underrated for a comic book Eldritch Abomination.
At least Gorath gets attention for his appearance in Mv C.

-Ahem- Iron Man 2020 AKA Arno Stark. This guy is essentially an Evil Counterpart of Tony Stark AKA Iron Man, in the sense that he wears the armour, but is a self-admitted Jerkass and amoral Bounty Hunter. Basically the opposite of Tony.
Comic Vine has an article talking about how much potential has been wasted with this character. What's sad is how Arno has become a Brother Chuck.
I've not read any comics about him, but I think Doctor Voodoo
sounds cool, and from his Wikipedia page he seems to have basically nothing to do.
I've read a lot of his early appearances. He's never really appealed to me.
X-Men X-Pert, my blog where I talk about X-Men comics. That would probably be due to his acute case of dead.
WHAT

WHO IS THIS LOSER
If you ask me, I think the problem with Shuma-Gorath is that he's way Too Powerful to Live. How powerful? Well, you know Cthulhu, the squid monster by H.P. Lovecraft that can destroy the entire world just by waking up? SG is arguably 100 times more powerful than that!
So, I guess the question is, how can you feature the little monster in a story without obliterating it right off the bat?
Oh, Equestria, we stand on guard for thee!
Well, you got me there!
Then again, comparing characters is probably a fruitless endeavour, especially when you have a character like The Sentry, Mr. Power-Of-One-Million-Exploding-Suns! Really, maybe they should pit him against Shuma-Gorath and find out who wins!
Oh, yeah! There's also The Inhumanoids. You know, three monstrous creatures that a squad of humans have a hard time fighting against, and had the kind of graphic violence that makes people wonder What Do You Mean, It's for Kids??
Oh, Equestria, we stand on guard for thee!![]()

Remember that Cthulu actually wasn't that powerful, comparatively. Oh, he could destroy humanity without effort, sure. But he was nowhere near the most powerful of the Great Old Ones.
Hey, how about Ghost from Dark Reign Thunderbolts?
He was a Creepy-Crazy Awesome Noble Demon in there and his redesign looked VERY cool, I don't know if he's still alive or active and I DON'T WANT TO KNOW
but I liked him a lot.
I think the Young Avengers could use a lot more main stream exposure in general, as could the Runaways. I have my fingers crossed for X Men Evolution type cartoon series with one of those two groups. :P

He was still active before Thunderbolts became Dark Avengers, but with the title change, it seems all the Thunderbolts are on a temporary hiatus. I'm sure he'll be back.

I have mixed feelings on the idea of a new New Warriors series. On the one hand, it'd be a nice place to give a lot of underutilized characters a new home - Speedball, Justice, Firestar, Namorita, Ultra-Girl, and anyone else they wanted to use. On the other hand, I feel like some of those characters deserve better than to be thrown together again. With some, it would just feel like a regression.
