I've come up with an idea for a webcomic and I've been developing it recently. But I realize that the last two times I tries this I got burnt out early on from trying to do the art and the story. So I decided that I would take the bit I feel I do better at, the story. I'm looking for an artist for a potential webcomic

Dynasty

The comic is set in a steampunk 1910s (mainly in 1915) where England controls most of the world. It centers on a particular family, the Volkovas living in the ports of London. The dysfunctional family, consisting of a mother and six sons, has ties to a criminal organization known as ‘The Throne’. The plot follows the sons, focusing in particular on the youngest, eccentric chemist Tobias ‘Toby’ Volkova, as they choose to either follow or defy their mother’s manipulations and find out the identities of their fathers.

The story has a somewhat dark and cynical mood to it. It will likely span about three major arcs based on my current plans. It has a lot of rather dark and sometimes extremely suggestive humor to it. There is going to be violence, two of the brothers attempt to torture their siblings to find a ‘traitor’, a brother is said to have died, and another actually is killed. Much of the implications and innuendo would put the rating for the comic at PG-13.

I am looking for a drawing style that pays attention to detail and is styled after western animation or possibly anime (if very well drawn). When in doubt I would prefer something more in the vein of Western Animation. I’m not looking for anything ‘chibi style’, or MS Paint style. I have some concept sketches done for anyone who’s interested. I would like to have the majority of the comic in black and white, and the covers of individual chapters in color. I would like it inked, either digitally or traditionally is fine.

Thank you very much for your attention and I hope this is posted in the right place. I cross posted it to Webcomics and Writer's Block as well, if that's allowed.

Is realism too detailed?

Perhaps. It depends on the kind of style of realism. I tend to lean towards animation based styles.

So something like Wooden Rose? (Sorry, that's the best style comparison I can think of off of the top of my head.)

You said that you had concept sketches, right? I'd be willing to try a similar style out with the characters.

Okay Thanks. I'll get the ones I have scanned today as soon as I can.
