Um... where is everybody? 4 of my players haven't posted in days. (Except for one, who posted once.) Look, if anyone has any problems, or are busy with anything, please post here, or at least PM me. Again, this is my first RP, so losing half of my players in less then a month is a bit discomforting...
Sorry guys, RL and an abundance of other R Ps and activities have caught up, so I am actually drawing out this time. I just foresee me having a lot on my plate coming up here and participating in this just keeps getting put on the backburner compared to other things, some important, some not *coughSkyrimcough*
Don't worry though, I'll finish up Johan's meeting with Elena and give him a proper send-off (one that'll tie into that hinted-at subplot about a nebulous government force kidnapping immortals, if no one minds).
I've got new mythological machinery, and very handsome supernatural scenery. Goodfae: a mafia web serialI was trying to set something up with that list of immortals who all "died", and those comments Johan keeps making about experimentatio, but if you don't like it, I won't do it.

Yeah, sorry, but I don't think we're going to do that; I got nothin' I can do with it.
But, on another note, sorry to see you go. No problems though; I have something else to discuss also...
Announcement 1: Once everyone finishes up with what they're currently doing, I want to do a time-skip to 7:30 PM, and get things moving. Can you all do this?
Renouncement 2: At this point, the first 'Act' of the RP might be finishing up soon, sonner then I expected actually, (as in, 2-3 weeks soon,) especially if/when the skip to 7:30 PM happens, so I figured I might get this out there now. One the first 'part' of the RP ends, a Time-Skip will occur, (as I said in the sign-up thread,) and the setting will drastically change as well. Once that happens, I'm going to either get the old sign-up thread going again, or start a new one; yes, everyone already here stays, but it's going to be a point where new players can join if they want to. Since we were starting to get close to that point, I figured I might as well make people aware. Feel free to state your opinions if you have them.

1) I want Arc to try* to do a runner before we jump, but apart from that the 7:30 skip is fine with me. I'll post when I'm actually supposed to be on a computer as opposed to sneaking on this one.
2) Huh, that's happening quicker than I expected, but I'm cool with a big skip. How far are we skipping into the future, or should we not know that right now
?
Also I think it'd be better to just bring up the old sign up thread, since having two for the same RP seems redundant.

2) To be honest, it was quicker then I expected also. But that's just how it is. Part 2 is going to be more open and freeroam though. And also, yes, you're not supposed to know how far the timeskip is yet.
And yes, perhaps you're right; having two sign-up threads may indeed be redundant. We'll see when we get there.

I was wondering a couple of things about the immortality in this story...
Does it come with the Required Secondary Power of healing? Such as if you got injured but it wasn't fatal, would it heal at a faster rate than a normal human, or does healing only happen after the person has died/suffered a fatal injury?
Also does the rate of healing differ if the injury is more severe? Such as getting shot twelve times as opposed to getting stabbed once.
I've been watching Baccano lately and it got me thinking.

Good questions... Basically, if something is supposed to kill you, you're dead, but only for a fraction of a second. Again, a blade or similar object can stuck deep into a vital point, and with 1-2 seconds, the immortal will be rendered immobile. However, if the immortal has enough willpower and acts quickly enough, they can pull it out in time. This is Jack was defeated earlier, as he knifed on his spinal cord at the back of his neck, and was too busy trying to kill Jason that he couldn't reach all the way back to pull it out.
Also, depending on the severity of the wound, it'll take longer to heal, but it's not really noticeable, with the difference in healing being only milliseconds away from each other, aside from when you're rendered immobile.

Also, I went back to posts 215 and 226, and made some small changes. Nothing major at all; mainly just fixing up what I thought were plotholes, or things that didn't make much sense. (These were plot-centric posts done by me.) You can check them if you want.
