If it makes anyone feel any better, we don't know when Anna will become Queen. We don't know when Elsa will move to the forest. Anna's coronation may have happened 10 years after she freed the forest from the mist for all we know.

[up][up]Good idea, no wonder Anna looked like Iduna in the ending, she is 31 yrs old now.

Well, that statue was certainly not built overnight. But, indeed, when I think about it, the ending has a feeling of Where Are They Now. Maybe not years, but at least 6 months, possibly a year (there is also a strange difference in the seasons in Arendelle and the Forest that I had not noticed), enough for the sisters to have comfortably established their new routine.

The only thing that does not quite match is Olaf and Kristoff's clothes, because it makes little sense for them to have broken them out for unveiling a statue and not for Anna's coronation, and the way the scene plays out it seems to be the first time that Anna sees them in them.

I only discovered now this adorable deleted scene (yes I know it's two months old). It's more of an animation test and would not have fitted in the movie apart as a teaser scene, but it's no less cute.

New Olaf's short vedio seems like happened in Oken's store, a place never be seen in frozen 2 or OFA, and they rebuilt some parts of this architecture, let me guess what that may mean...tongue

[up] Let's hope... (it was the short with the sweets, right?)

There is also apparently a new dress for AA from a book and which inspired a lot of fanartists. I have no idea which book it is and whether it is supposed to happen after the end of Frozen 2, though.

Disney should make a short about the snowgies that should have come out of the horn in Frozen Fever.

This seems like an unpopular opinion but... I really hate Elsa's spirit design. Everyone seems to coo over it but I'm not seeing it. The dress is "meh", but her hair is the problem. It just looks bad. I don't know if having hair down just doesn't fit Elsa, the hairstyle doesn't fit her, or if it's just how it's animated, but I can't look at that design for too long.

My favorite design for Elsa is still her coronation design. I think the purple's and blue's fit her, plus the bun looks best on her.

[up] IMO, letting her hair down now makes Elsa looks a lot more like a blonde Rapunzel and almost every other Disney woman. The only three exceptions I can think of are Ball Cinderella (she lets her hair down when she's a Maid), Snow White (whose hair is short), and Tiana.

The northern European braids are what helped made Elsa and Anna stand out from the crowd. Plus, Tangled showed how running around in the wilderness with long hair just gets all sorts of stuff stuck in it. At least Rapunzel has the valid excuse of being able to use her hair as a lasso and MediGun.

Never thought much about which Elsa I prefer (all of them, maybe), but as far as Anna is concerned I definitely like her better with her two braids. I find her cuter that way than with her bun, though the hairdo she has during the trip to the forest in Frozen 2 comes close second. Well, that and her morning hair, of course wink

I like Anna with her braids, but I've always imagined she'd change hairstyle eventually. I can't see her wearing braids at 30. Just what her new hairstyle would be like, I don't know. Maybe loose? I think wavy, loose hair could fit Anna.

I like Anna either with two pigtails or with the bun she wears for Elsa's coronation, Frozen Fever, first part of Olaf's Frozen Adventure, and the harvest festival of Frozen II.

I also like the version of Anna we have in the first film and the animated shorts, rather than the Frozen II version of her, where she's more like a low-budget version of Elsa with an insipid boyfriend (that doesn't sell good merchandise). She also doesn't exactly have much in the way of conflict either in Frozen II. As Doug put it in his Nostalgia Critic review, "if she didn't want to go on the journey or not get involved where they feel they don't belong, maybe that could have created some conflict. But wherever Elsa goes, she goes, so it doesn't feel like there's a ton of growth. Ooh but she does freak out at Kristoff a lot!"

Speaking of hairstyles, the Cinema Sins guy got hilariously confused about the braid Anna wore in her hair in Frozen II. XD

Come on! Let's bless them all until we get fershnickered!

Braided Elsa is timelessly classic, but it was understandable that Disney want to make some difference of her. Unlike Anna, Elsa kept one hairstyle for 6 years, consumers might felt tired of it.

New hairstyle seems like a market test.

[up][up] I don't see why people would get bored. Hairstyle Inertia is a thing and she's only a few years older than she was in Frozen.

My headcanon was that the braid was Elsa's casual style, but she wore buns when doing queenly business.

[up]Maybe people didnt get bored, but who knows. So I said it was a market test, Disney wanted to know what people would react if Elsa change her hairstyle.

I have not seen all the "At home with Olaf" shorts but those I've seen are very cute.

Please oh please make Olaf 2D be a test for a Frozen 2D show like the Tangled one (eh, one can dream) and not a 2D show about Olaf and Sven fooling around with non-speaking cameos from the sisters (because Bell and Menzel are busy elsewhere).

[up][up] You'd think that with the popularity of Frozen, a tv show would've come sooner. I mean, Tangled's tv show was announced 5 years after the original movie, and came out 2 years later. Frozen came out 6 and a half years ago, and yet has not had any announcement like that. Then again, I guess the Frozen Fever short, 2016 Lego special, and 2017 Christmas special , and obviously Frozen 2, are essentially a substitute for that.
