There is a Playstation (One) games sale on PSN. Among the games are Syphon Filter, Metal Gear Solid, Crash Bandicoot, Castlevania: SOTN, MediEvil, Silent Hill, Tekken II, the Spyro Trilogy and several other games.
And I mean the Spyro Trilogy. Not the single games. There is a discount for the first game too, but not the other games. PSN seems to have trouble with the concept of making sense.
Also, the sale ends on the 10th July.

People aren't as awful as the internet makes them out to be.Well, Steam summer sale isn't starting today. I know some people thought it might, since a bunch of deals were ending. Thursday is normally when their big deals start, right? It's definitely this week.
Writing a post-post apocalypse LitRPG on RR. Also fanfic stuff.Gamers Gate has started their own Summer Sale as of today.
A lot of games and DLC on sale, with the Deals of the Day being stuff like Forge for $5, Dm C Devil May Cry for $24.98, Metro Last Light for $33.47, and Telltale Games' The Walking Dead for $9.98, amongst a bunch of bundle deals.
I have a minion! My first ever minion! I am so happy. Nice one, Gamers Gate! And the whole Gothic saga for under a fiver. Not bad.

By the looks of it, this year's Steam Summer Seal will be this Thursday. In the meantime, the Midweek Madness is the Need for Speed franchise (70% off)
I now go by Graf von Tirol.A reminder, courtesy of onyhow who pointed this out to me:
When you want to get a game, especially if it's an indie game, check the developer's website first. They might be willing to sell you both a DRM-free copy AND a Steam key for deeply-discounted prices! (FTL was doing this earlier, at the same time it was on sale on both Steam and GOG.)
Also part of Midweek Madness are two Half Life deals: you can either get Half-Life 2 for $2.50, or a bundle of all things Half-Life related for $10.

Steam sale is now live, I repeat, the Steam sale is now live.

Yeah, I thought so too, but it started on the 14th or so last year. I'm guessing it will be next Friday.
