De-wicked and cutlisted Megaton Announcement and its laconic and made the note on the discussion page.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanThe home page thing is a joke; here's the thread
I was "answering" to your comment, so to speak. Yes, I was confusing here.
This topic's over, though. Let's wait for the cut, then we can close this.

Waiting on a TRS slot? Finishing off one of these cleaning efforts will usually open one up.I've hooked a new crowner. By the way, the reason the cut was declined must be the inbounds. I think we should find something to redirect it to.
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - FighteerDownvoting Sugar Wiki since a Megaton Announcement is not an Audience Reaction but a real trope (assuming that announcements about a work qualify as tropes rather than Trivia, even though it wouldn't fit Sugar Wiki either way)
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanRe-bumping this, since the SugarWiki. And The Fandom Rejoiced TRS thread
has got some suggestions that pertain to Megaton Announcement.
Well, the trope is basically "announcement that some troper found really impressive". Since that's basically random advertising but done well, Advertising Tropes would be a reasonable redirect targt.
As I recall an earlier crowner decided to cutlist this. We don't know why the cut is declined; it probably wasn't the inbound count (which is 11) but we don't know otherwise. Basically we've had two successful votes to get rid of this page.
The inbound counter has been reset between the crowners. The previous request was declined because it had too many inbounds.
Also, the non-decayed trope is actually "announcement that triggers significant discussion/upheaval". Not quite announcement Done Well

Crown Description:
Megaton Announcement

I say so, because cutting is a last resort, and we should consider other options either first or at the same time.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.
