"My dad! A great dragon knight from my tribe.. town.. whatever." the girl continued on, not knowing what words to describe her old man with.
"He went off on a journey one day a few months ago and never came back. We didn't get any letters, no communication, nothing at all. He just vanished! I know I'm young but I took it upon myself to look for him..." she looked to the ground, frowning. Was he in this city? Was he somewhere else? She didn't have any leads.
Elly's heart was torn by the story. As someone who'd spent considerable time looking for her parents she could relate. But this girl probably had a lot of advantages, like say knowing her father's name.
"Cheer up, I want to help you." Elly said, patting the girl on her shoulder, "If you're looking for someone, you've come to the right city. I bet there's someone here who's heard of him and can point you in the right direction. But first, what's his name?"
You must agree, my plan is sheer elegance in its simplicity! My TumblrEmi followed Alex's line of sight, and there it was. The sign had the owner's excessively long name on it and everything. "Yep, that's it!"
With that, she broke into a run across the wide street, through the direct sunlight, to the shop.
"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up.""Me neither, sorry. If he's a dragon he probably didn't come in by bridge. But there's a chance he reported to the airport. How big a dragon is he?"
Absentmindedly Elly pulled out of her pocket watch, yeah she had a couple of hours before her next commission.

"He's a Dragon Knight, tall, white hair just like mine... he lost his wings though..."
Emi hurried into the shop, her skin ceasing to tingle as she entered the covered confines of the building.
The shop was fairly expansive. There was a counter, and then clothes in shelves behind it... actually, there was lots of clothes pretty much everywhere they could be adequately hung. Most of it quite fancy.
The shopkeeper, a young woman, waved to them.
"Alright, see anything you like?" Emi said, turning to Alex.
"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up."Elly shivered and momentarily held her wings close.
"He lost his wings? Then maybe he came across one of the bridge. We should check, anyway. He might have signed in. Or maybe one of the guards might remember him."
Elly chuckled, "Yeah you're right, he's unlikely to just show up if we don't do anything."

"I think I might need to take a proper look first." she replied, "How about you?"
Burn up, hurricane of justice!"Ugh," Elly sighed, "Hundreds. Did he ever mention where he might have stayed on his previous trips?"
You must agree, my plan is sheer elegance in its simplicity! My TumblrNot long after Chandri released the spell the summoning spell completed itself and from a flash of light came the bag's guardian... Which was not a terribly imposing figure. It looked like a small mammal of some sort, long and sleek, with white fur, small ears, a small green crystal embedded on his forehead on top of a dark brown diamond of darker fur. The small creature looked straight at Chandri, little legs flexed as if it were ready to pounce on him.
Whitebolt. Its iconic white building towering over all else in the city, the academy marked Hercine's center for knowledge and its pursuit. With mages from all walks of life and all fields of study, anyone with a passion for the universe and its inner workings would find themselves here.
Walking down the streets where the secrets of the world were uncovered, Luceid looked over her surroundings with bespectacled eyes. Maybe here is where she'd find what she was looking for. And if not, well, she could at least expand her own knowledge with Whitebolt's resources.
"Actually I don't know much about my father's previous journeys.. I know he's killed large monsters, dragons and stuff but.. where he stays?..." Wagner looked down the ground in utter embarrassment. Her cheeks lit up with a bright red.
"I..I don't know."

She frowned. "oh...right. I don't have any money."
She looked down at the shoes she'd picked out, and took them off.
"F-For me? Th-thank you, sir." She smiled and picked the shoes up, going to the shopkeeper to pay for them.

"Huh? Your dad?"
