Its not universal but it is common.
Sometimes at Sakuya's expense sadly.
Danbooru warning.

Kingdom Hearts RP of my own. Enjoy.Sakuya is the worst Mario player ever. Also, why would someone make that?
Forever liveblogging the AvengersI just realized that we need some Buddhist representation all up ins.
- Name: Nazrin
- Age: Over 1000 years old.
- Gender: Female
- Species: Mouse youkai.
- Appearance: Fairly short. Nazrin has gray hair and red eyes. She wears a brownish-black one-piece with pink sleeves and a gray capelet. She also wears a necklace with a crystal pendant. Carries dowsing rods with the letters for the cardinal directions on the ends. She also carries a mouse in a basket by her tail by the name of Colonel Squeakers. Like so also danbooru warning.
- Personality: The Tiny, Clever Commander. While Ichirin, Byakuren, and Shou are concerned primarily with the spiritual, Nazrin is concerned with the physical. A lot of the time, the mundane tasks of the temple will fall to her since she's got her feet on the ground. She's clever and she knows it. She's also not that high on the power hierarchy and knows it too. She prefers craftiness to outright confrontation but if she gets her hands on some power, won't be shy about trying it out.* Takes being a mouse seriously and doesn't like it when people make fun of mice. Tries to protect and guide her mice subordinates like a big sister sort of figure. Loyal to the Myouren Temple group but unafraid to snark about them.*
- Abilities: She has the power to find lost objects and treasures. These powers are complemented by her dowsing rods and pendulum, which she also uses in combat. She also commands hordes of mice youkai to find stuff for her but that's not really a power and more of a hierarchy and respect thing.*

Forever liveblogging the AvengersSince I unfortunately don't really seem to be feeling Chiyuri and Kana very much, I've decided to drop them and replace them. Here goes...
- Name: Watatsuki no Yorihime
- Age: At least 1500.
- Gender: Female
- Species: Lunarian
- Appearance: The Moon Princess Possessed By Divine Spirits
◊
- Personality: Aloof and cold to just about everyone, the only real exceptions being her sister Toyohime, her old teacher Eirin and both Reisens. She's learned never to really trust others, and so isn't exactly willing to let anyone get close to her. As a Lunarian, she generally looks down upon the humans and youkai of Earth, in the same way that elves tend to look down on humans in most fantasy settings. In battle, she is coolheaded and analytical, yet shows a far more joyful side of herself; in fact the only time she is ever really seen smiling is when she's fighting a strong opponent.
- Abilties, Spell Cards, all that good stuff: Very good at dodging. Some fanciful tales claim that she can slice lasers in half and even eat danmaku with no ill effect; these of course are nothing but fabrications and propaganda by the Lunarian military to make them seem more threatening. Yorihime is a superb swordswoman, and wields a magical sword so sharp it is claimed to be able to slice light itself (again, most likely propaganda). She possesses the power to absorb knowledge, making her a very fast learner. Like most characters, she can fly, although her skill with danmaku is unknown. Finally, and most notably, she can summon the power of the Shinto gods to aid her. Despite being extraordinarily powerful whilst on the moon, on Earth her powers are notably weaker. It's not exactly clear why; maybe the Earth's stronger gravity drags her down, or maybe the polluted Earth atmosphere weakens her constitution that was used to the pure moon air?

Hmmm... I have to admit, this play feels very, very tempting, but I'm not sure if I would really fit. I am in the mood for something dragony lately (Blame Skyrim and Dungeon Defenders), but the one dragon that is documented to exist in Gensokyo is said to be the most insanely powerful being to exist there, and I'm not sure if there is a way to make a reasonably playable one plausible. ._.
"Suffer a vicious person and you will fear vice. Suffer a virtuous one and you will soon loathe virtue itself." Tony DuvertI will give it a try. Let's see how it goes.
- Name: Kamui Kamikurau
- Age: Very young from the point of view of her kin. Seriously.
- Gender: Female
- Species: Dragon
- Appearance: Here
◊.
- Personality: Kamui was born among the dragons of heaven, but clearly lacks the personality to be in heaven. She's lazy, unable to exert herself in anything, as well as whimsical and slightly irresponsible. Despite being a dragon child with relatively little power, she believes herself capable of doing everything. She has often come down from heaven and gone to Gensokyo to escape from her caretakers and have fun among mortals, disguised as a normal human. In her opinion, mortals (Read that as both humans and youkai) have better ways of entertaining themselves, and enjoy more fulfilling lives than the dull, uninteresting lives of immortals.
- Abilties:
- Flight: Self-explanatory.
- Spellcards: Centered around the telling of tales and stories. Each of her spellcards is related to a tale or part of a tale from around the world.
- Manipulation of luck: She can bestow luck on those who deserve it, and take luck away from those who don't. This power is subject to strict sanction from heaven, however. Therefore, she is law-bound to not overuse it or abuse it, lest she suffers severe karmic retribution as punishment, at the time it would inconvenience her the most.
- Themesong: Just for fun...

"Suffer a vicious person and you will fear vice. Suffer a virtuous one and you will soon loathe virtue itself." Tony DuvertKasen has a pet dragon so its very possible for their to be a non-omnipotent dragon character.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersProbably the middle point, rounding down just to be safe: She's not a complete pushover, but her laziness prevents her from discovering and exercising her true potential.
If I had to put her in the stage of a game... I'd say she would be the Stage 3 boss, and one of her spellcards probably has a safe spot.
