As Dex walks over, Mike reflexively drops into a fighting stance. However, when he shows no sign of aggression, Mike does not attack. When he speaks, it is in a voice dripping with distrust and hatred.
"....Thanks for the info."
He begins to move off toward the school, but suddenly collapses under his injured leg.
"Son of a... I shouldn't have split it in two..."

In our heart, Mr. Ando will always be a penguin.Dex nodded, "Yeah, whatever, buh bye, kid."
He walked off, that was quite exciting, that Mike guy seemed able to dodge bullets, and had a shapeshifting weapon. Potentially an interesting rematch some time in the future.
He had taken more damage than what he was used to, so he was feeling pretty tired.
Moaning softly from his blow from the golem (which had cracked three of his ribs), Sar'thariel could not defend against the spell of banishment, and his body abruptly vanished, replaced by two specks of magical light - one red and one green. The green one soared up into the air, vanishing amongst the clouds. The red - Elijah's soul - zoomed low along the ground, eventually coming to rest against a tree.
Unseen, Elijah began to calmly recite the Chant of Corporeality, the rare spell to recreate the bodies of those whose bodies had been destroyed by demon possession. Gradually, his body began to reform, from the feet up. He was a sorry sight - naked, all the bruises and burns from Sar'thariel's chains could be seen, and he was horribly emaciated. Elijah groaned, and shielded his eyes from the sun with one limp arm, but his eyes slowly began to adjust, and he opened them to see the devastated scene. He lay back against the tree, too weak to stand up. "Grakoth help me... what has happened here?" he whispered, his voice thin from a lack of use, but unquestionably a human and not a demon one.
Well that all happened pretty quickly, note: minor edit to my previous post, three pages ago.
Up on one of the roofs, Farrah breathed a sigh of relief, it looked like the battle was over. It had been quite spectacular. He hadn't seen the start but he'd seen quite a bit. After phoning the police (and telling them to get SWAT or something) he'd caught the rest of it on film, sound supplied by a minor clairaudience spell.
Now he really should be going home. But he'd be grounded or worse for staying already. And the police would want a statement...
Farrah pocketed his phone, and vaulted off the roof. Reaching the ground via some windows, and railings. He slowly approached the victors, and asked, "So what was all that about?"
You must agree, my plan is sheer elegance in its simplicity! My TumblrWhen one of them came over, Elijah began to speak.
"You may recognise me... I was the leader. But it wasn't me. I was to be bound with a demon, by my magical order. As a spirit guide, you understand, not for evil designs. It went wrong, though. One of them... Sar'thariel... he took me over before we returned to Earth. He said that... that woman was an escaped demon, and he was going to bring her back." Elijah shuddered at the memory. "If you have never been possessed by a demon, you do not know what it is like... trapped inside your own mind, bound by demonic chains..." He shook his head. "I will not talk of that any more. Sar'thariel is gone for now, but I feel he will return soon... we need to leave, and now."
Mike limped over to Elijah. The wound in his leg was painful, and he could tell that it would take quite a while to heal. It would probably take even longer than it usually would, considering how much energy he had used up to fight the kid. As he moved, Mike found himself wondering who or what Dex was.
"You were possessed by a demon?"

In our heart, Mr. Ando will always be a penguin.Running low on paper though he was, Colico figured it would be a waste not to track down the demoness who had started all this. She would probably come after him sooner or later anyways if she figured out what he was.
He strode towards the last direction he'd seen Beatrix going as determinedly as possible, drawing several more ofuda from the depths of his coat.

Elijah took the half-elf's hand, and struggled to his feet, standing on shaky legs. "I have nothing I can pay you, my friend, and I need no services. Only a place of sanctuary, so I can recover my strength." He began to walk slowly towards the building that Beatrix had run into. "Come, we must find where she went - I cannot let Sar'thariel or any other demon come for her."

"She was a demon too?"
