Indeed, he did. We were unaware of his cruel intentions. I had my suspicions when I found I could not read his mind, but I passed it off as unimportant. After the sinking, we found him at the scene, and when the guards reacted, he fled. The citizens of the sunken portion of the city later confirmed that it was he who sank it, and so we have hunted him ever since.
-Yu has already confessed to doing it though...- speakin' of which, the perpetrator of who actually sunk Atlantis ever gonna show?
Speaking of which... may I please go? I've been holding it in for a long time now...
Nick! This guy would be the perfect addition to our team!
-pretends not to hear Maya-
Then wouldn't it be possible now to... Mind read! -pinches the bridge of his nose- Mind read my client now? To tell if his intentions were truly malicious that night?
mario is red, i am green, i try my best, but everyone's mean("I want to ask a stupid question.")
Nick! Psst! Nick! Think we can ditch court right now and get some burgers? Or I can go and you can lend me money to buy the two of us some.
-bridge pinch harder- ...wait a moment, you said you were unaware of his malicious intentions earlier, but just now you said that he didn't intend to do it in the first place. Would you please explain this inconsistency for clarity?
-Estelle should probably be reminded not to speak out of order-

mario is red, i am green, i try my best, but everyone's meanI said that-
OOOOO Objection! That statement is false! The witness claims he was unable to read the defendant's mind period at the time in question! There was nothing said about discerning intention!
....Thank you.
-Harv smiles like a douche-
Regardless, I can read his mind now, and he fully admits to sinking a chunk of my city! Do people in your county let people get away with reckless endangerment? I dare say not!
-Estelle should also be reminded that she is not in her country and revealing her identity in public while unguarded is also a very very bad idea-

I just wanted some clarification, Mr. Birdman, thank you very much. I'd also ask what a mind period is but I think I can take some context clues.
As for that matter, naturally we don't. But, shouldn't the merit that the defendant had not intended the destruction at least instead warrant a punishment less than what you had almost sentenced him to?
-like, no really, he's doing the potty dance in his seat right now-

And what was your reaction when you discovered that Mr. Narukami was responsible for felling a section of your great city?
Again!
