{I guess I should mention how bad the TV world is. Staying there in too long is harmful, even more so when it's a child. Like with the Aer. My younger cousin is only seven years old, so her stay in the TV world negatively impacted her greatly.... She died that night due to her body being unable to handle the stress of the TV world. That night I almost killed Namatame for putting her through that.}
{I don't know what overcame me, but I stopped, and as if by some miracle, Nanako came back to life. Nobody understood what happened that night, but all we knew was that there was still somebody else responsible. That there was somebody behind Namatame who kickstarted all of this and was watching with sick amusement.}
mario is red, i am green, i try my best, but everyone's mean-who knows if that memory things works both ways, but Yu is reminded himself of Nanako's death
and stays quiet for a while-
.......
Anyway. The day after, we talked to Namatame about his motives and actions. Apparently, he never thought things would go the way he did. He was very distraught over the death of the first victim and saw putting people in the TV as a way to save them. He never once doubted his actions until he stepped foot into the TV world personally. With Namatame out of the way, that led to us racking our brains over discovering who it was that set him off in the first place.
mario is red, i am green, i try my best, but everyone's mean-well... it's still pretty sad to watch admittedly-
Apparently, the man behind it all was a man named Tohru Adachi. He worked closely with my Uncle in the police force and was apparently the person that started it all off. We deduced it was him because -I'm sorry how exactly the bumbling police officer was deduced to being a murderer and a crazed individual escapes me every time- we managed to rope him into revealing what he knew thanks to some word play.
Unfortunately again, he escaped into the TV world where we all had to give chase once more and play his game to get him.
mario is red, i am green, i try my best, but everyone's mean-hadn't noticed he started speaking out loud-
Something that had recently started occurring before we went after Adachi was that the town, Inaba, was getting covered with a very thick fog. We didn't understand this at the time, but for some reason, the fog was very similar to that of the TV world, we could see through it using our glasses.
At this point, we gave chase to Adachi, we tracked him down to a part of the TV world that was more of a grim reflection of our town and the reality he saw in it. He called it Magatsu Inaba. Magatsu Inaba was a very convoluted maze that we followed Adachi through, several times along the way we were stopped by very powerful Shadows, the group had to break off if we were to continue chasing Adachi without him getting away. Along the way, he told us of what he intended to do there.
mario is red, i am green, i try my best, but everyone's mean-they're probably confused due to Yu starting to speak up part way through the story but okay-
He revealed to us that the reason the Real World was getting more and more foggy was because he was opening a rift between the TV world and there. He planned to engulf the world in fog and overrun it with shadows. Over time, the party dwindled down due to the powerful Shadows until it was just me facing Adachi.
He told me about how he found society disgusting and how all the boundaries in it made it boring. He found our efforts in the TV World as a sort of game and that he used it to escape from what he found boring in society. His words aside, he had a plan that I wasn't going to let him carry out. I started a fight with him and, in doing so, I learned he could summon a Persona too, a corrupted variation on my Izanagi.
mario is red, i am green, i try my best, but everyone's mean-notices that people were listening to him-
...oh I started talking out loud didn't I? ...it wouldn't be fair to leave you all hanging in the middle of it I guess.
-recounts the rest of the tale and starts back up where he left off-
That's basically what we told him about. He attempted to sway our opinions to believe that the world was boring, and that we would be better off living free as a Shadow. Well, we refuted his points, telling him that he was childish in believing that he could do that and was throwing a tantrum. He had a mental breakdown in having his points crushed, and he was taken down.
He decided to try and commit suicide since he didn't want to own up to anything after that point... it sounds ridiculous in retrospect, but that was when something else came in. Something else that was manipulating Adachi as well, it was called Ameno-Sagiri.
mario is red, i am green, i try my best, but everyone's mean-to Yuri- He owned up to his crimes later on after realizing what he was doing wouldn't work.
Anyway, Ameno-Sagiri introduced itself as "the one who controlled the fog" and "the one who guides humans to their desires". The best I can explain what it looked like was a large floating eyeball. It also told us that the TV World was a direct result of humanity's growing desires, fantasies, and repressions. It also told us that it planned to merge the TV World and the Real World because humans could no longer distinguish reality from fiction and turn everyone into Shadows, it decided that was the best course of action.
Naturally we weren't going to allow that to happen.

{My Uncle got into a car crash trying to catch up with Namatame, the next step was to get him admitted to a hospital before anybody could do anything. The next day we geared up to go save my cousin, and that we did. We also took down Namatame and brought him back with us for interrogation.}
