That's nostalgia to the extreme, trying to bring back a time when the sith were in power.
Not only that, but jedi are constantly told to let go. Let go of the past, let go of attachments, focus on here and now, do not go running off looking for adventure, that is not the jedi way!

Yes, I suppose it is. Jedi are taken in to the temples at a young age, 3-5 mostly, some from birth, so be raised as a jedi.
We wield powers greater than most can imagine, to misuse them, can cause doom upon many worlds. We learn to control our emotions, and to not form romantic attachments.
We save our compassion not for the few, but for all.
To outsiders, it can sounds scary, strange, and sad, but to those on the inner circle.... there is no place I would rather be.
Helping others, visiting many worlds, making new friends, for even though romance is discourages, friendship is welcomed, for kindness is contagious, and invites more light into the galaxy.
