-Follows after a short pause, staying back but in sight-
What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything?-Puts a hand on his shoulder-
You don't have to shoulder it all yourself, you know. You can talk to me when things get too much.
What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything? You can tell me anything you feel you want to.
What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything?Because I'm just about certain that whatever trick made me immortal won't carry across to them.
What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything?...Denzel.
...
There were lots, but he was the only one that stayed. After Midgar was destroyed, there were a lot of kids that didn't have parents. We let them stay with us, though a lot of them moved on after a few weeks. They would visit though.
Denzel had the stigma. We didn't think he'd live another six months, and... but then there was a cure, so he did. And he decided he wanted to stay with us. With me. Sometimes others stayed too, but he was the first. It's... it's hard to remember names and faces, after so long.
I — we couldn't have any on our own, but it was fine this way. I wouldn't have known how to take care of a baby anyway.
...There was Marlene, but she wasn't ours. She already had a father. She just visited sometimes, when he was working.
...And —
And Marcy.
There was Marcy, with Sarah. And David.

-Goes to steady him-
It's alright. They sound like they were something special.
What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything?-Hesitates before following once more-
What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything?I'm sorry. I didn't mean to bring up anything painful.
What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything?

... {it's a bit cold, but... I guess some things make it worth it I dunno}
