"No, valuing ones own life higher then those of the people they are trying to defend is the wrong way to end a war"

"A war is a game of numbers, and each day that passes brings you closer to loosing, if one does not occasionally take a risk for the sake of expedition, it will bleed you dry from time"

Do not lecture me on how to fight a war, girl. Have you not noticed yet that we are clearly this land's only hope? If we are defeated, then they will surely be as well.

"I would argue the narcissism of such a claim, and point out that war is the task I was created for, but given that they have yet to win the war on there own, you may actually have a point for once"

-She stares at Ges-

"I have been trying to avoid bringing it up, because I do think that your strategic value is higher then that of a single civilian, but why don't you share your alternative with the group"

-gespenst sighs and stands up-

I've got an inbuilt teleportation system, if I go first and get the coordinates for the destination then I can come back and teleport the group there. But it will burn out that system along with a few others so we won't be able to use it again for the rest of the trip.

What other systems of yours shall be destroyed, robot?

How much blood does this guy need, anyway?

my cooling systems, the internal beam cannon, and generator will all likely suffer some damage in this process.

basically if we do this it's highly likely I'll be unable to take part in serious combat for the rest of the trip.

-gespenst looks over at Zoro-

it's two cups per person.

Alright, so we ask someone to give some blood, and send the robot over so he can transport the rest of us. Problem solved.

"Two cups per person is fatal, and it has to be a person born in a certain location, there is no asking any one of us for nobel heroics here"

We'll just use really tiny cups.

While I do think that is pretty funny, I think he means the measurement system. Not actual cups.

...Here is a question. It stands to reason that simply sending one man instead of an entire group would require less blood, yes?

(Junon offers her opinion.)

Junon: @Gilgamesh: From what I heard... That would be right, I guess.

We could probably still get two cups if we asked a lot of people.

Bcom Since: Jun, 2014
#161867: Mar 11th 2015 at 1:50:31 PM

hmmmmmm, both of you are likely right. If we ask a bunch of people we could probably collect 2 cups without putting anyone in danger, and if we only have to send one person then that should be all we need.

"Once agian, that would just put many people in danger, look around, we do not have the facilities or tech to collect blood from multiple people safely, contamination and complications will likely kill a couple of them...."

We got magic to take care of that.

"Magic can have complications too though, especially in a war-zone, plus it assumes we can even find a large amount of people from the correct location when that asshole did not even tell us what kind of physical traits to look for"

"Going around, asking for Kejlrian blood has a low chance of sucess"

I think he'll tell us what we're supposed to look for once we've agreed to use the blood magic.

Why not just ask some random people where they're from?

Tch...what a pain...

We'll assume two cups per person means about 500 milliliters. I'd say that's not near close enough to kill an average adult, and there shouldn't be any noticeable symptoms.

If this to save the Yralan race, I'd say it's sensible.

If we make a big deal out of this, we just might be able to get enough blood in, like, a week.
