-Returns with some rope-
-Sighs-
"Why must the machine make the hard call"
"Look, I don't like this guy, and I don't like what I am about to do, but the numbers come down to it, if we take months on the ship, thats months that the fey can keep killing"
"We also don't have the tech or the facilities to safely and cleanly drain blood from a large amount of people, contamination and complications would likely kill a couple"
"I am going to go grab a large adult human male from the correct location as soon as this guy can tell me how to identify one, and bring him back as a sacrifice.... down to the numbers, it is better to loose one gaurnteed, then to risk who knows how many lifes"
-Carefully re-ajusts the thunderhammer for maximum voltage, minimum amphrage, AKA a taser cannon-
"But I can't just grab one from the field hospital there already loosing there bloo...."
"There might be an alternative actually.... do we have to drain the blood ourselves? Is there a shelf life, or a ritual to the process? Is there any danger involved if the blood contacts other blood?
" Or can we instead of hunting down a random people... grab the bloody rags off the wounded Kejlrian soldiers, and wring them?"
"No complication risk there that they would not already have...."
-She then looks to Gil-
"Then you provide a better option here goldilocks, I don't like this either, but the longer we investigate or sit on our asses the more people die."
"In war it is some times better to make the wrong call quick, then the correct call too late"
"Besides, how many of us are there here? If he is giving us false information it will quickly become apparent, and we can drain his blood instead..."

Feh. Within my Gate of Babylon there are dozens of artifacts that could get us to arrive at our destination, but clearly that is not an option at this juncture.
I would rather we traveled by sea - certainly, it would be slower, but it is more trustworthy than Racksdin. If your goal is not to put a certain end to this war, but to put a quick and speedy end to it, then your goal is wrong. Taking a ship is certainly safer than placing our lives in the hands of a magus.
UN JOUR JE SERAI DE RETOUR PRÈS DE TOI

-Takes a deep breath-
Were you not our only hope of reaching Kejlras quickly I very well might.
