(TIME SKIP OF: 5 hours, INITIATED)
(the rest of Gear Group has been returned to normal)
(everyone has returned to the room)
(and Aven's personal doorway to the Guilty Gear world is there too)
(and on that bittersweet note, ROLL CREDITS
)
...If she does come back, and she does decide she wants to be with you again, you won't love her.
She'll be afraid. And you'll get tired of her being afraid all the time. And one day you'll stop being patient and hit her and find somebody else to love. You don't like people if they're too inconvenient for you. It isn't a bad thing, but that's how it is.
...
It was nice being your friend. I'm sorry I couldn't be better.

MY SOUL IS DARK BUT MY HAIR IS COLORFUL — Brahian Pokémon AlchemistKeep The Flag Flying, Epilogue
Unknown Location
On the yard of a house in the middle of an unknown village, there laid a creature. It was a bird, a baby bird that had just fallen out of its nest. And next to that bird was a girl, a young girl, who looked no more than fifteen years old, scooping up the bird in her hands, whispering to it like a caretaker.
"Dizzy! Come on in and have your dinner!"
"Ah, coming Mother!"
The girl waited for her mother to go back into the house. When she did, the young girl known as Dizzy gently set the bird aside and took off her shirt. With no clothing to obstruct them, her wings stretched and got ready for flight. Small as they were, they were enough to carry the young girl. She picked the bird back up and flew to its nest, where its mother waited, and she gently put the child back into its nest with its parent.
The mother bird seemed grateful to have its offspring returned, and rubbed the little baby bird on its beak with its cheek.
The girl named Dizzy put her finger to her lips, and spoke to the birds.
"I have these wings, just like yours. I don't know why, but you have to promise not to let anyone know, okay?"
It was hard to tell if the bird understood her or not. Of course it was, it was a bird, It couldn't speak, only chirp and, sometimes, sing.
Dizzy landed back onto the grass, and picked her shirt back off of the ground. She took a closer look at her clothes. Not fancy in the least, in fact, they were rather plain. But they represented something like home, it represented her family, with the humans. But then she looked back at the feathery wings on her back. They represented something alien, something dangerous that was to be put down.
Am I....not human?
Dizzy had to wonder to herself. According to her parents, who were honest people under all circumstances, she was only a baby two years ago. Already they kept her away from any outsiders, making sure she was never seen.
The sheltered princess, kept in a cage and away from the dangers of the world.
A tale that would have its time to be told soon enough.
"Dizzy...please, come in, your meal's getting cold-ah! Dizzy! Why is your shirt off?."
"Ah...I-I'm sorry Mother! I..."
The Mother walked up to Dizzy, and proceeded to help her wear the shirt, making doubly sure that her wings were comfortable.
"Please Dizzy, no one must see those wings of yours. Besides, with your bare skin showing like that, you'll catch a cold."
"R-Right....thank you, Mother."
Dizzy smiled. She supposed that none of that issue mattered. Whether she was human or not, she had a family.
And she couldn't be happier.
Elsewhere
The black haired Gear stayed on his knees, staring down at the cracks of the Earth. His blood was filling up the cracks, and before long, a sea of blood engulfed the ground, decorated with the bodies of fresh human sacrifices.
"Soon my Master...I will free you..."
And Testament laughed, ready to bring his plan into fruition.
The End.

"Shake the dust." - Anis Mojgani

Ragna. Stay your temper.
(to Aven) Well, what say I offer you a proposal?
I happen to have an acquaintance who is a resident of that world, or do you not remember? And I also seem to have learned quite a bit about the process of dimensional travel. Perhaps if you kept in contact with me, I could help maintain your connections to this world.
