-Ahahahaha, Cloud. Looks like microscopic creatures got the better of you today after all-
Wait a second... Dorium Maldovar...
What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything? He's a black market dealer. Well, that doesn't quite give him credit. He's the black market dealer. With a fondness for the obscure, the rare and the priceless. If the Orb of Karn is out there, he's got to have tabs on it. He wouldn't be able to resist adding it to his collection.
What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything? Then let's go.
-Pulls the wibbly lever-
Two figures stand in the forest. They shouldn't be here. They were told to stay, to wait, to deflect suspicion, to avoid a paradox. The woman knows this. The man does too, but she hasn't been able to convince him. All she can do is follow and make sure he does nothing foolish.
"Ajax said—"
"Ajax can say what he wants," the man snarls. "It's not enough to have them leave. We need insurance. There must be no chance of them following."
"If you're doing what I think you're about to do, you're going to get a lot of people killed."
He snorts at her warning.
"What does it matter? They are all as good as dead already."
"Eamon, I—"
"Don't call me that. That's not my name anymore."
She falls silent. He continues to stare her down. He had always doubted her commitment. She lacked his ruthlessness. He knew what she was hiding from him, but he wanted to wait to see if she would ever admit to it. Regardless, he would not fail his cause because of her weakness. He crouches by the shadows cast by a tree, knowing full well how close to danger he is. He takes out a small metal canister he had borrowed. When he finally returns it, less than a second will have passed.
She cocks her head. "What are you putting in that canister?"
For the first time in months, he smiles.
"Nothing."
What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything?I must be missing the clearly inherent hilarity laden within this whole situation, Cassie, because I fail to see anything worth giving a single hoot over. Maybe over our whole getaway from the forest is laugh-worthy, but I'd hardly call it the kind of funny your gut would be busting over.
mario is red, i am green, i try my best, but everyone's mean-sigh, and whisper to Fen-
the way the other dragon girl is acting, and her comment about not being able to get what ever she need in a common store.

They can't for the life of them understand why nobody liked being ruled by a group of manic depressive demigods - 4chanAaaand, we're here. The Maldovarium. Careful. It's full of swindlers, racketeers and all kinds of nasties. On the other hand, you can get stuff here you can't find anywhere else. They mostly deal in trade, though, so if you really want something, you'll have to make them a good offer.

...I could've fixed it... I can fix things...
Should we stop for supplies, or...?
