-Recalls Mike's home address. Hopes they haven't moved out after all the crap they've been through, like mature adults-
What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything?-Hugs him back- What have you been up to? You seen any — ah jeez, I should probably keep it down. Don't want the neighbours finding out. Or my parents. As far as they're concerned, you put me in that coma.
Back home. How is everyone doing?

MY SOUL IS DARK BUT MY HAIR IS COLORFUL — Brahian Pokémon AlchemistYeah, we'd better. Well... after all the craziness here ended, we all ended up back in the room in its little pocket dimension. For a while I went back to my own universe. Got back in touch with a few people. Found a few things of interest. Got Einstein, Newton and Archemides in a room together. That was fun.
Then I met up with everyone again. We tried to save another planet through a dance contest and a fight with somebody claiming to be the Norse God of Thunder. It fell a bit by the wayside.
Then we ended up in a fantasy world of a ten year old boy here who ended up reactivating that machine under the city. For a bit, I was just a normal human teacher. That... was interesting.
And then I finally got a moment to come look for you and make sure you were okay. You left rather abruptly last time.
What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything?...Well, you've definitely been busy.
I haven't been doing too much. We decided to stay here for a bit to avoid publicity. I can still hear that glitch thing in my head, but it's just something I've kinda gotten used to. -Scratches his neck- Kinda accidentally fried my dad's laptop, though. He has no idea how it happened, but I don't think it'd be a good idea to tell him.
-Nods- I'm sorry.
If I can help...

MY SOUL IS DARK BUT MY HAIR IS COLORFUL — Brahian Pokémon AlchemistWho's he?
Hey, I've just been worried about you.
...I tried to remotely log onto TOME, without the headset or the game software. It's been ages since I talked to Flamey or Ny... didn't work, though. I guess laptops aren't meant to process people.

MY SOUL IS DARK BUT MY HAIR IS COLORFUL — Brahian Pokémon AlchemistI still for the life of me have no idea what makes your game tick. There's more to it than coding and bugs.
What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything?…
(Looks down for a moment. Writes.)
"NOT ENTIRELY SURE MYSELF. LOOKS LIKE A HUMAN MAN IN A BLUE BUSINESS SUIT. ISN'T. HE FOLLOWS ME AND WATCHES."
make it through this year if it kills you yet | 2001-2019Virtual realities, yes. Can't walk ten paces in the 51st century without seeing one. But a digital virus affecting a human being... well, it's a first for me.
What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything?Don't know. If it does, I haven't heard of them.
Well, there are rumours... during the production, one of the programmers — the guys who designed the battle system, I think, or maybe they just programmed the physics — were hospitalised, and someone got fired. They had hired some thirty-party contractor, but he screwed it up. Maybe intentionally, or maybe something went wrong. One of them attemtped suicide not long after the incident, but no one knows what happened to him. And to this day, there's a hidden, unlockable region of the game where it all happened, with whatever caused the incident lurking there.
That "Seventh Netking", "Forbidden Power" stuff is all just urban legend creepypasta junk, but... having met you, and after everything that's happened... I'm gonna give it the benefit of the doubt.

MY SOUL IS DARK BUT MY HAIR IS COLORFUL — Brahian Pokémon AlchemistThe benefit of the doubt is your best friend around me. Especially now that you have a reality warping super machine dormant under your city.
What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything?

...I never did anything.
