Where do you think the power source for this room is?
What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything?Something is letting this room travel through dimensions. I want to find out what it is. Maybe I could integrate a similar component into the TARDIS.
What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything?I didn't even mean to leave my universe the first time. Y'see, I was trying to go back further than anyone had ever gone in time - when the universe was created. Normally there are blocks and limitations that prevent this, both physical locks and practical impossibilities. After months of preparation, I thought I'd found enough technical loopholes for it to work. Thing is, it worked too well. I ended up going back to before my universe was created. The TARDIS was adrift and being torn apart. But I found something to anchor to before I was erased - the universe I later helped destroy.
What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything? The same reason people go back to their house after going to the corner shop - it's where I belong.
What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything?'Course it's a time machine. I come in here talking about how I helped write the draft for Dreamland with E. A. Poe and wear a jacket that belonged to Jon Bon Jovi, and you doubted I could travel in time?
Seriously - read Dreamland. There is no way the Doctor didn't help with that. There are constant references to a traveller who exists out of space and time and visits those of the past, who faces down ghouls and who rides on a sea without a shore - the time vortex.

What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything?Well, there are limitations. I can cross my own timestream, but only if I am already part of a time loop - I can't travel back unless I've already seen my future self and know what to do. I can't change big events - they're fixed points. Imagine time being like a rug - each thread is an event. Some are more important than others. I can change one little event by pulling out a thread, but if I try to change a major event - pulling out a big thread - time unravels. So I can save a soldier in a galactic war from dying, but I can't end the war itself if it's consequences are great enough.

What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything?-Takes out his timey-wimey detector. Unfortunately, thanks to the lack of stuff, it does not go ding-
Hmm... no temporal manipulations detected.

What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything?-Puts his detector away-
Hmmm... there doesn't seem to be an obvious explanation... how did the rest of you manage to leave your home universe, anyway?
What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything?

-would probably start pulling shit out of his sack but I don't wanna start pulling power ups out of my ass-
-sits on the couch and contemplates the ceiling-
mario is red, i am green, i try my best, but everyone's mean
