-Thankfully he's a rather small guy so he doesn't take up quite as much space as a lot of other people.-

Time Passes

(Park, Aichi, Lockon and Dirk squeeze into the car, drive to the Sallow Lodge. The new agent, fresh as he may be, is skilled behind the wheel, and whisks them to the ominous meeting hall◊.) you're in there

(Despite all their best attempts, begging, pleading and cajoling, the Lodge remains secretive and bars all of them from entry. The one present member that they can see, Beefus Cassidy Beauregarde III, dodges questions and acts in a semi-belligerent manner befitting his apparently racist nature.)

(Logan, Dia and Koata recover the remainder of the evidence from Norm's hotel room. Mr. Katrakis accompanies them as they leave. Much information on his personal life, but nothing conclusive.) i know you are

In an Old Graveyard, On the Outskirts of Town

(Amber Rouge◊, Rusty Rouge◊ and Gracelyn deCapp◊ sit amid many old, decrepit tombstones in the damp evening grass, a wooden ouija board resting on Rusty's lap. Snack crackers of various sorts are strewn about, as are cans of soda.)

Guyyyys, this is gonna be so cool...! God, what should we even ask the ghosts first...?

(Amber just watches grumpily, checking her phone every now and then.)

(Gracelyn looks scared already.)

(The moon and the stars shine bright. One star in particular outshines them all, brighter yet than it was even the following night. A bright pink car, having transported many here, rests near a decrepit obelisk to some Confederate general, bathed in the celestial light.) i'm gonna be waiting, okay?

In the Blue Ribbon Diner

(Agents, not currently on the field, gather again in the warmth and safety of the diner to compare field notes and commiserate over circumstances. Yet another agent, astonishingly enough, has arrived. Like Logan, he is Canadian in origin. Perhaps he's even sitting near Logan. Who's to say?)

(Logan picks his teeth with one of those plastic sword toothpicks, squinting down frustratedly at the evidence pulled from Norm's room.)

(The non-agent diners are sparse and quiet, homespun scents permeating the air. Sweet iced tea flows like blood, but a certain vibe colors the atmosphere, makes things a bit strange...)we all will be waiting... we love you

Bruce Wayne, sitting next to Logan, peers at his Blackberry, seeing if he has any texts in his inbox, any missed calls. "Ate fast," he says, apparently to him.

-Norman stares out at the fellow agents in the Diner, his face serious-

The murder weapon was sourced from a local sporting goods store. Footage from the security camera lining up with the likely time of purchase shows four potential buyers: Beefus Beauregarde Cassidy III, Krios Katrakis, Cooter Jones, and Ross Rouge. Security camera footage also displayed remarkable phenomena, having been in some way tampered with to display various visuals I have documented in this folder.

-Norman slides a manilla folder on the table, red letters reading "CLASSIFIED" marking its cover-

I propose marking all four persons of interest and seeing to it that each is interviewed regarding the machete.

-Aichi nearly sighs, feeling as though their attempts at the lodge were almost a complete waste.-

-Needless to say, having a run in with the rather, erm... crude Beefus sort of brought Aichi's spirits down a good amount.-

-Not to mention that the night sort of just feels odd in general. The atmosphere's sort of giving him the chills.-

-Then Norman begins to speak, and Aichi listens carefully.-

"I think that's a good idea..."

-Honestly, Aichi's not really sure how to proceed with this whole thing though...-

"I can, um... question one of them..."

-Talking with the people at the morgue went fairly well (barring the embarrassment he suffered due to his email).-

-As for his side of things...-

"I sought out the help of Mrs. Rouge of the Star-Times. She's helping me keep an eye on any kind of astrological readings..."

-What they've learned...-

"There's a chance that the Weaver is a Leo, based on what she said when I told her about R Leonis. We're going to be keeping in contact, and I'll be sure to update you all as I get more information."

-Then there's also the lodge...-

"We tried to visit the Sallow Lodge, but we... didn't really get to go inside..."

-He says that sheepishly.-

(Neil is sitting next to Aichi, eating a gammon steak.)

Well, anyway, the bloke who was watching the Lodge's door was a right asshole.

(He notices Norman's folder.)

-Aichi's honestly not sure how he feels about Katrakis being a suspect. On one hand he doesn't want to believe that he (or really anyone for that matter) would do such a thing.-

-...On the other hand, as someone in his profession, he has to try to view this more realistically. Katrakis could be the one to have done it, and might be doing a really good job hiding it.-

-He tries to speak a little bit more quietly, trying to keep it so Katrakis doesn't hear Aichi talking about him.-

"At the very least we can question him about it, and if it turns out he didn't, then he might have an idea of who could have bought it..."

-He then gets a very sheepish expression in response to Neil's, as much as he hates to say it, totally accurate description of the guy.-

"H-He was a bit, um... abrasive..."

-And once Lockon asks about the documents, Aichi can't help but want to look as well. He had been intending to ask, but he wasn't sure about doing it in the middle of everything.-

"I'd like to see it too, please."

-The scientist gets out of his rather-small car, the music finally stopping-

"Sorry I'm late! That punk in the blue sports car cut me off again, and this time he had friends! I swear they were street racing or something, who actually owns bright red and yellow cars in this day and age?"
