Seriously, if they get Dimension Shift working on a ship-to-ship scale, boarding action is the only offence that they have. And half of the stuff would cause too much damage.

Y'know, that thing seems to be roughly the same shape as the Cradle.
But less golden.

Well, note that Praji said that they didn't match any known sublight drive signatures. I'll add in a bit about how the "capital ship"'s signatures were minimal.

And it probably wouldn't be very impressive to have Hayate accept the communication, would it? She's 20. XD

Well, yes, but it's not like the Imperials know that.
And if Hayate did somehow respond, then Hilarity Ensues (probably because they'd assume she was a civilian who had somehow managed to get a hold of the communication terminal in the Saint's Cradle).

...Civilians sheltering in the bridge after a disaster of some sort? They're going to probably go for the mundane ideas first rather than the (relatively) fantastical ones. Naturally, this will only make things funnier once the inevitable meet-up or whatever occurs.
