...Uh, Moerin? I remember reading that the New Macross class could only carry about 450 Variable Fighters...

It just occurred to me how many roles the characters included in the crew I mentioned fill.

Tip: never let Uno near other ships' computers. evil grin

Well, if it's accepted. XD

Can she even read English?

(Then again, at least one technologically advanced race in the Stargate verse is programmed in Javascript, so...)

Given that Mid-Childa is another world and Gil Graham was also English, I'm going to guess there's translation involved somewhere.

Besides, why create someone to process data that can't understand what peoples' devices are saying? :3

[up][up] Don't forget all the English speaking people... Including descendants of the Mongols and the Egyptians... Oh, and not to forget the aliens who haven't been to Earth in millennia, or the aliens who have never been to Eartn...

Okay, edited our current cast.

GCR, you get a profile up for your ship and you'll be in too.

The computers on the Typhon would be easy...until the commander orders them split up so it makes hacking a pain in the ass.

And I have our initial meeting all planned out.

We all arrive in orbit of a star that has no planets, asteroids, or anything, so we need to work with each other. Our FT Ls are offline, so none of us can travel outside the system.

When I feel that we have done enough talking amongst ourselves, and we need to push the plot onward...we will be forcibly teleported into orbit around the Planet Miranda. cool

Try the "O'Neill". Because the Asgardians don't exist anymore, so they wan't to continue the name of their last class of ship.

Uno's hacking abilities are undetectable and seem to work with her just being in the general vicinity... [lol]

I take it that the Cradle's engine is going to be repaired to the point it can maintain life support and so there's something to... well, fix? :O

Go with "Thor" to honor the Supreme Commander of the Asgard.

This would be a lot easier if there was a theme. Two are named after figures from Greek Mythology (Deadalus and Apollo), one's named after a work of Classical Literature (Odyssey), one's named after a mythological creature then re-named after a dead character (Phoenix / George Hammond), one's named after a Soviet rocket scientist (Korolev) and the last's named after a Chinese philosopher (Sun Tzu)

I bet the Cradle has backup systems, as even after Vita smashed the main power source the thing could still fly. So while you might not have all your weapons or engines, you're not totally helpless...so long as Vivio agrees to help [lol]

Plus, I have the weird mental picture of Jail saying "We can have weapons or engines, not both" and then Max cuts in, "Go with weapons, don't worry about engines." and the Battle 7 grabs the Cradle and points it at the enemy [lol]

I can imagine that someone will have to remind Jail to sleep. XD

I think that it was going to crash into the sea, too, so putting it that close to the surface of a planet is a bad idea.

It would be funny Moerin, as the Saint's Cradle is like...three times the size of Battle 7. I more picture Battle 7 letting the gunship fly on its own, and it handles the Saint's Cradle like a bazooka. [lol]

I'm also trusting you a lot Moerin, considering you most likely have the most destructive weapon among us. The Battle 7's main gun is exceptionally powerful.

Also, deathpigeon, I'm kinda surprised you did not remember the planet we will be visiting...you've seen the Big Damn Movie right?
