I can't remember if I've seen the second one or not. I've seen the Penguins Christmas short and the first one, but I think that's all. I have no plans to see this one.

Have to say though, the Afro Circus song made me laugh.

I was won over by the animal control officer. Not what I was expecting, and I can't wait to see more of her.

I didn't really like the sequel but this one looks promising, the circus tiger and animal control officer seem like interesting characters.

Huh, I thought that for part three they'd finally return to America. Guess they are planning a four part series like Shrek's.

That said, I enjoyed that trailer more than the entirety of part 2. evil grin

If they aren't coming home by the end of this film, i'm not going to watch it

The thing that bugs me is they're actually much better at the end of 2 than they were at the start of 1. Why to bother going back to the zoo?

Katzenburg said they have one more film after this one, when they DO go back to Central Park Zoo.

[up] Betcha they decide not to. The animals staying in New York, I mean.

If these become massively profitable, Dream Works will make sure these animals won't ever return back home! ALL OF THE SEQUELS, *****!

[up] I predict they won't go past four. Hopefully they learned that lesson with Shrek.

So it says that they will ultimately travel back to New York and will have to come to terms with it (or something like that-I'm paraphrasing) but that doesn't mean they won't get to home in this one. The next film could be, like everyone was suggesting, where they head back to the wild to stay or something.

They're gonna go out with three or four. You'll see. Katzenburg had to go back on his initial promise of 6 Shrek movies.

The main reason I like Number 1 better than Number 2 is because the second was a HUGE ripoff of The Lion King, while the first was more original and hilarious. grin

[up] Yes, exactly what I thought. Did no one else notice this or what? When people list the movie's flaws I rarely see this, but it's so glaring.
