Would it be okay if I joined as The Nameless One, from Planescape Torment? Basically, he's effectively immortal in the sense that he comes back to life every time he dies. However, up until now, his memory has been erased every time he dies, so it's not all that helpful. (Though, in the game, he just gets back up after a while, and keeps his memory of what happened, so I'll probably go with that for simplicity.)

UN JOUR JE SERAI DE RETOUR PRÈS DE TOIAlrighty then.
My OC is Alex Neudachnik, a veteran S.T.A.L.K.E.R. (Basically illegal fortune-seekers}. He used to be a policeman, before accidentally gunned down a civilian and become a fugitive. He ventured into The Zone of Alienation to avoid arrest, but stuck there and becomes a Stalker. After two years of surviving in the Zone, he was trapped inside a space bubble and was brought to the room. He is mostly a decent person, if somewhat untrusting at first. Does not like psychics and mages. He carries an OTs-14 Groza
, a USP compact
pistol, and a modified Exoskeleton
, plus couple dozens of medicines and rations.

Nothing seems to have changed. But perhaps one day it will.Oh, right, I forgot it helps to give details of where we are right now.
Erm, we're not in the room. We're in space Impel Down
busting a pirate and his cook crew out. Specifically Level 3 last I checked, a desert level. If I'm right, the next level is one that's blisteringly cold and a frozen tundra.
Also also also... actually, do we have magicks users on the team? Yomiel can still do his ghost tricks, right?

mario is red, i am green, i try my best, but everyone's meanActually, no, Yomiel does not have Ghost Tricks at the moment, due to being saved by Sissel at the end of Ghost Trick.
Although, I was thinking of Lynne stumbling upon a Temsik shard, dying and then gaining Ghost Tricks herself.
"Shake the dust." - Anis MojganiSounds okay to me. His suit is closed-cycle and offers decent protection against heat and electricity. No idea about other elements, though. About magic users, it's not that he will openly insult them or what, just generally less trusting to them.
Oh, and is it okay for me to just drop him in the middle of the group?
Nothing seems to have changed. But perhaps one day it will. Before that, I think it's better for me to fill in his abilities and traits:
- He is a good marksman, capable of scoring headshots over 300 meters with a scope.
- He is very cautious, often letting others go first if he deems it too dangerous.
- His main goal is getting back to Ukraine, and thinks his only chance is within the group.
- Only takes off his helmet when he needs to, much less his suit.
- Initially, he prioritizes his own survival over others.
- His main strategy is to Take Cover! and hit the enemy weak-point, several times if needed.
- His police training makes him a capable close-combat fighter and can be very quick to incapacitate an average person.
- He is very much a Combat Pragmatist, and he will bring a gun into a fistfight.
- He prefers conflicts to be talked over peacefully, but will resort to violence if needed.
- He carries several "Artifacts", valuable byproducts of the Zone that passively emits special properties. He carries two Bubble
artifacts (Lowers radiation), a Firefly
(Significant health regen, emits radiation), and a Shell
(Energy regen boost, emits radiation).

Nothing seems to have changed. But perhaps one day it will.Ooh, Stalker! That's one of my favorite FPSes, I think.
While you're waiting, why not post in the Avatar arena?
A bunch of the people here post there, too. It'll give you a good chance to show off your character's skill at killing everything.
Actually I've played him in the FG thread, since the arena is currently populated by characters that can possibly kill him in one hit.
Oh, and since probably there are some other characters that also named Alex, I think it's better to call him Stalker instead.
Nothing seems to have changed. But perhaps one day it will. His plot gets put on hold and taken off the table via some of Pyro's hax magic, and we vote on a new GM. We had to make this rule due to Joe, and later Strig.
Really not too thrilled about this, considering this is the second plot of Duffy's that we've had to bump (and that Duffy plots are made of win and marshmallows), but we can't just sit here for weeks on end, either, when we have plenty of willing GMs waiting in the wings.
