alright I guess I have to quote it
"Okay, so, the evil district's actually smart and trains people for this shit every year, District 11 sends a little girl, so they should expect to lose"
"Little Girl From District 11 is black"
"Other Guy From District 11 is black"
"When the mostly black residents of District 11 see that Little Girl dies"
"They decide to throw a riot of Rodney King-esque proportions."
"Sure, when the white people die it's all grieving mothers and somber hugs"
"But of course you gotta have the N****r District throw a full-on chimp-out when shit goes expectantly ary."
I had to watch Divergent with my sister once.
They broke down the entire cast into five character traits with stupid rules. None of the characters are relatable. All of the evil characters are really obvious and there are no redeeming character traits for any of them. You can see every twist a mile ahead.
Oh yeah, and some bozo thought it was okay to show a perceived rape scene between the two main characters and expect you to feel okay with them together on screen.
DeerIt was just 90 minutes of MEH.
I feel sorry for Ellie Goulding for having her songs appear in this movie like five different times.
It just hammers in "Be yourself" "Be a free thinker" and "Question authority" into your brain a million times over.
Also we had the worst movie crowd ever. Grown adult men taking pictures, shouting, jumping over seats, and flashing their lights.
