I'm actually wondering how good the Tyranids are in regards to actual fleet capabilities.
I'm thinking if you shot them to pieces in orbit before they even got to a planet, you'd save yourself a whole load of trouble.
Hell- if the Imperium got off their arses, they might just fire exterminatus rounds at Hive ships.
Because it can't be as strong as a planet.

That describes a battle agains Tyranid starships.
And it is terrifying.
What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything?Basically, and Imperial fleet of several hundred capital ships against a fleet of hundreds of thousands of Tyranid capital ships, not including the billions of smaller drones.
What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything?Humans only win by finding one of the first Tyranids to land, which has unmutated DNA that is closest to the Tyranid Norn Queen. They then send a Deathwatch Team into the enormous Tyranid flagship at great cost to their fleet. The Deathwatch poison the queen and she spreads the "mutation" throughout the Tyranid forces, who all drop dead from the new improvement.
What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything?Too bad the other Spaniards mutated their DNA to prevent us from wiping their entire species out.
