I return from watching a documentary saying that WW 1 was necessary.
1.5 imperial gallons of tea were consumed during the writing of this postWell.
Since this is a British perspective, it was saying that- It was good that we entered in on the war, because apparently a German victory would be worse for Europe.
There was a lot of blaming Germany.
Or more specifically- the Kaiser and Berlin government.
1.5 imperial gallons of tea were consumed during the writing of this postForgive me if I'm being a continental douchebag, but British didn't exactly find themselves demographically demolished like did French, German, Russians or any other nation on the continent mostly because of sitting back on the island.
Which wouldn't change regardless of the winner. All in all, First World War is more morally ambiguous than the second(where there's no arguing that Hitler and Stalin started it).
Wilhelm wasn't the soundest of people, but I imagine that if Central States won it would not only keep old empires and old dynasties, but maybe also kept totalitarian governments away from Germany.
