Random and gratuitous makeouts? Doctor Who never ever has those.
But honestly, this is where Spaz wanted to take the character and the relationship, and I was happy to let her.
What about him?
Nope, Spaz, trust me, I think at this point you can safely say you've seen the last of Captain Jack Harkness.
I have utterly no ulterior motive for having him resurrected by someone already established to have little focus and control of her abilities, whilst simultaneously trapping him in Cardiff, Wales. None at all. Because he is dead.
What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything?Shocking suggestion, Imca. Perish the thought.
What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything? As for the thing, Jam, since I might as well get this out of the way:
Yes, I am aware it was not entirely realistic. And, now that I read back, events were a lot shorter than I thought they were. But one, they still went through a lot together, two, Cloud is a desperate, affection-starved nutjob, and most importantly, three, it's just what should happen. At the end of a big story like that, with the tone it had, and the setup and everything, I couldn't not do it. This is Doctor Who, for Chrissakes. You need a big feelgood moment like that after putting a couple people through something like that. The narrative demands it.
(And four, I honestly kind of need this. Cloud's breaking point before this arc was supposed to be his upswing, when Deluge fell through. Also Deluge fell through. Both times he ended up even worse, I'm behind schedule, and for once I want to end on a high note, if not a bittersweet one. Since, you know, he's probably never gonna see her again.)
Cue the ninjas.

What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything?Pretty soon.
I like his outfit. Rather plain, like Nines.
What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything?I mean yeah they've been through a lot together, but from what I saw they showed no real interest in eachother like that, Sabe really just seemed manipulative. Mostly because she happened to be brainwashed by the Nightmare Child and Cloud is desperate and insane. No real person, with any experince dating at least, in their right minds would go out with Cloud at the moment. Not only because they would cringe at how he acted, but they also wouldn't for ethical reasons. Sabe essentially took advantage of Cloud.

Awesome!
Really, this plot is very special to me and I'm glad I planned and executed it well.
Do you think I can top this someday?
